"Excellent contractor. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and took care of replacing our leaking water heater, and also brought gas and water hookups up to code. I will hire them again if we have any future plumbing needs."

"JJ provided a detailed description of work needed to remove and replace my 20 yr old rusted cooler, complete with photos and an itemized list of labor and parts. Gerrod and James arrived within the time parameter, introduced themselves and got to work. They did need to go get a larger unit and within 4 hours my new cooler was up and cooling my house. What I paid was exactly what was estimated. I received photos of every step of the installation."

"I had a small leak affecting my exterior anti-siphon faucet and hose bib pipe. Mike, Sr. responded to my request and quickly set up the repair before the winter freeze. Issac did the repair to my satisfaction. The cost was reasonable and I will use them again if I need a plumber."

"The workman/plumber decides what you need. You pay him what he charges. No discussion of work required or of any costs. He was asked in advance before he appeared at my house if he had 100 ft snake and if he would work from my roof; which he agreed to. Arriving at my house, he stated it was too hard to take his equipment on the roof, that he would use a camera instead. He stated that the camera showed no obstruction. Instead he brought his snake into the laundry room. Obstruction was found and removed he stated. I paid him extra (because he used his camera), but will not hire him or his company again. Especially because they do not believe in plumbing preventive maintenance."

"I was told it would be a thousand to $1,200 to repair my furnace. My bill ended up being $1,500 and I have no idea how much the parts were or how much the labor was. Im not sure why it went up $300 from the original quote."

"My home is older so repairs are never simple. My kitchen sink was clogged. He was unable to snake it out, he left me a 4 gallon bucket to use if needed. Came back next day found the issue, replaced the clogged pipes and water ran freely. On time and professional."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Albuquerque, NM

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
