They came out and spent less than an hour, charged $170 (that could go towards the repair later) and then left to prepare the estimate which came back at $700! For that, I would have skipped the diagnostic in the first place and just ordered a new dishwasher and install. Now we are left to purchase a new dishwasher and out the $170! Pretty high price for a diagnostic visit, and I can?t believe a repair would be that much. Even if we buy a new dishwasher, they said they would charge over $300 to install it, in addition to the original $170.
