"My wife was home on the day and time of the repair. My wife told me the amount we were charged and that the repair man told her that there was no way to test a refrigerator compressor, but that he replaced a motor and cleaned some coils. She said he told her the compressor will come back in 48 to 72 hours and the freezer will start working. However, there are no guarantees. By the time Friday came there was no change in the freezer working, so I did a Google search on whether a compressor can be tested, which stated there are several ways to test one. So I called the company and asked for the owner of the company. The person said that he is the owner, and recognizing my phone number, he stated that he was the one that worked on my refrigerator. My next statement was said as a means of expressing my wife's desperation to get the freezer fixed and told him my wife has stage four pancreatic cancer and was desperate to get the freezer fixed. I then said that I Googled ways to test a compressor and he cut me off to tell me what I found. He then said he did nothing wrong and everything he did was according to New Mexico electrician standards. I told him he needed to make this right and he became even more defensive and said paying $300.00 is better than paying $3,000.00, and then he said he needed to attend to his pregnant wife. I told him if he did not make this right I would sue him and he said to go ahead because he would gladly counter-sue me and hung up the phone. This man lied to my wife about testing a refrigerator compressor and had zero remorse about scamming us."
