I’m Roger Rojas, a 20-year-old carpenter with three years of hands-on experience in drywall, metal framing, acoustic ceilings, and plaster/mudding. I work in both commercial and residential remodeling, alongside my father, who brings over 35 years of experience in every aspect of general carpentry, including finish work and painting. We also have a team of skilled specialists covering all these areas as well, including sink and countertop work. Together, we prioritize efficiency and quality in every project, and we’re always ready to take on new leads and deliver solid, reliable results.

"Bret did a fantastic job realigning all the doors/trim in my basement which had shifted over the past 20 years. He also lowered the baseboard all around my basement as well. He worked tirelessly and quickly. It really is nice that all the doors in the basement close effortlessly and it looks like it did when brand new. He also installed a new lazy-susan shelving which had broken. In my opinion, Bret is a craftsmen's craftsman. All his work has been outstanding, priced below market value, and he is honest and trustworthy. Just the type of person you want to know and have his number handy for all projects."

"The way Monumental Construction does business makes their customers feel like everyone's friends working together to provide a high-quality product for the best price, as opposed to Company A trying to get over on Client B. Been there, done that. Having a new roof and gutters replaced on a large and steep two-story house can be an absolute nightmare. However, Monumental Construction was a pleasure to work with: superior product, solid project management, and quick responses to any and all questions we had during the installation process. Their construction team provided professional and quality service every step of the way... without nickel and diming us. Likewise, they worked hand-in-hand with our insurance company, insurance appraiser, city/county inspectors, and the warranty company to ensure we had to do nothing more than watch the roof and gutters go up on time while proudly accepting the many compliments we received from our neighbors (even a few drive-bys) regarding the final product."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Allenspark, CO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
