"I was extremely impressed with the appliances that they had at the time. There were lots of options for my cabinets. The designer was very patience with me, we just sat, and he would mock it up for me. It was a very long planning process. When it was all said and done, I got to different cabinets from the same manufacturer. You would not know it if you looked at my kitchen. They helped me save thousands of dollars and being willing to do it that way; I have a very fancy kitchen. That part was nice. The way Lowe's does it, they have their own contractors, and the contractor that was assigned to me has worked for Lowe's in the past. He was a little bit of a nightmare. He was trying to sell additional products; on the one hand, some of it was good, because we needed it. The people at Lowe's were my mentors and they backed his work, even in cases where they had not provided the material. He did a back splash that was terrible. They had him take it out and they found someone to put it back. I only paid for the material; they paid for the labor. When he drilled the doors, he broke the back of the doors; they replaced all of doors. I received unprecedented support from Lowe's. It took almost a year before the whole thing was done, that was my fault. I would use Lowe's again because when working with a contractor, it was nice to have someone in my corner. I was very impressed. The second guy that came in and did the back splash was very nice."

"They were prompt, they didn't call us from the road looking for our house so they knew where they were going, and they did what they were supposed to do. We never saw the same people twice but they were all capable and did a good job. We went to get an estimate because we liked their reviews on Angie's List and because they carry the product that we were looking for. They gave the estimate in the same day and it was very comfortable with us so we didn't get an estimate from anywhere else. Their estimate was a lot more doable than the estimate that we got a few years ago. If I needed another countertop, I would go back to them. I would not go to them for cabinets because I do not like the type that they carry."
