"Rick was very punctual. Very polite and explained everything very throughly. There were complications with repairing the door, because a totally new jam needed to be milled. Rick explained all of this after he had pulled the old frame out. The job cost more than we both had anticipated, but Rick was very generous with his time and materials. At all times Rick kept in contact with me to keep me posted ont the progress. <br /> The door is wonderful. Is now air tight, and the winter I will not have to worry about putting towels down to block the air flow!. <br /> I would recommend RFD Construction to anyone because it is a well done job, minimum time spent to fix a terrible mess the Rick needed to fix for me. <br /> I have another door that needs fixed like the one that has just been repaired, but will await until next year to get this door done. <br /> Again, I will recommend him to anyone! <br /> <br />"

"Scott Mumma was very quick to make contact with us once we ordered the $149 Roof Repair and Maintenance from Angie's List.  We had several leaks, so decided to use the deal, and at the same time get an assessment on other maintenance issues needed while he was here.  Scott was extremely pleasant, and listened intently as we walked around the house looking at all the issues we had been dealing with.  We talked about what needed to be done, and then he came into the house to discuss it with both my husband and me.  Scott helped us to see what we needed to do first, and then the logical progression with additional required work.  He and his crew scheduled to come out and work on the roof within a few days of the assessment.  He worked all day the first day, and had to come out an additional day to finish up.  He had originally quoted the job as $3,500, but ended up only charging $3,000 as he didn't need to replace as much material as originally thought.  They did an excellent job, and we haven't had any issues since then.  We have already made plans for JS Mumma to come out and totally replace our back door/doorway and adjoining window.  We have a lot of rotten wood on our home, and he is the one we want to fix it.  We were very pleased with his expertise, his honesty, and his concern to stay within our budget!  We feel Scott Mumma is one contractor you can trust to do a good job and not take any shortcuts on labor or materials. <br />"

She listens well and went above and beyond to help me pick my stone, super white quartzite, and then pick out the perfect pieces for my project. I think we moved 10 slabs around to get the perfect match. She also asked several questions and determined based on a possible future appliance change, I may need another small piece, which she incorporated. All in all, great options and excellent service. "I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."
