"Mr. Graf came to the house to install a new sump pump. He ended up not only installing the pump but replacing the inside pipes and then having to dig outside in mud to get rid of the tree roots and replace the outside drain. The job went from just installing a pump to digging out pre-existing drain pipes which no longer functioned correctly. He would not leave until it was perfect. Also the cost was extremely reasonable for all the unexpected work he had to do. He also came on short notice in order to make the repairs before a storm came. There was no "extra" charge for this emergency repair. Mr. Graf is a professional with a strong work ethic and takes tremendous pride in his work. He is also punctual and pleasant to deal with."

"Install guys were nice and clean. They did forget to seal the gas exhaust pipe properly. A tech came back out that night to seal the PVC piping after I called them about it. Nice reaction but letting carbon monoxide exhaust leak into my basement in the first palce was not a quality job. The salesperson while polite was not aware that the three zone heating on my existing equipment was not compatible with the new Carrier system to be installed. Rather than confirm it with his manager he stated specifically that there would be no problem and the techs would demonstrate the zone heating before they left. Halfway thru the install the techs let me know that the zone controls would not work with the new system and I had to pay extra to make that work. Ok, lesson learned, never accept what the salesperson says only what they write on the order. Eventually I paid for the new board to be installed. Of course the new board is a special order and a week later and multiple calls I still do not have a date for if and when the install will be completed even though I have paid in full. Why the Install team does not confirm that the equipment is on order and when it might be installed is beyond me. I am patient but they need to keep the customer informed. As to the new Carrier Heat Pump and Gas furnace. Working beautiful now that they have sealed the exhaust pipe."

"The inspector "John" showed up before we got there. He was prepared and ready as we pulled up to the house. John was very detailed as he looked for the areas of concern. He informed us of any issues and documented them as he worked. His report was clear and focused on the big issues. It was a pleasure to hire DIR Home Inspection and we would recommend them to anyone getting a home inspection."

"I contacted the contractor via email and provided a few photographs of the old existing door system. He replied promptly and we made an appointment for the next day for him to inspect the current conditions and take measurements. He described in detail the scope of the work needed and provided a written Work Estimate and Contract which we reviewed. We scheduled the work for the following day and he arrived on time to perform the work which included removal of the old door system and preparation of the foundation. It was necessary to remove vinyl siding in order to replace the door system and he carefully peeled the siding back, installed the new door, and replaced the siding in such a professional manner that it looked new. The existing concrete foundation was not level and required some concrete work in order to install the new door system. The new door system came primed, and I decided to paint the new door system myself. The contractor provided information on preparing the door for painting and gave me details on the type of paint and where to purchase it. It was very helpful. I had requested a locking system for the new door, and the contractor explained its operation. The work was completed in one day. Overall, it was a very professional job. <br />"
