"Cody was very responsive and easy to work with! I appreciated him taking the time to explain the process for the mold remediation and answering all my questions in a timely manner. The technician that came out was also super helpful and answered all questions. Hope we got ahead of any serious problems with mold and donâ t have to worry about it when we list the house for sale in the near future. :)"

"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"Great. Show up on time for both the estimate and the repair. The written estimate was actually less than the ballpark estimate I was given on the spot. The mess and odor that you have to deal with with mold removal was completly contained."

"the person who came to do the work was friendly, courteous and professional, and he arrived on time and ready to work. All bathroom tile and floor surfaces were thoroughly cLeaned, and grout looked like new when he was done. surfaces, including grout, were sealed. When this job was done, the bathroom surfaces looked just like new! We appreciated hearing about Summit's owner and about the loyalty his employees feel toward him. I would have this company back again in the future, and we will be calling them for any necessary cleaning or restoration work. Kudos! <br />"

"Cecil did a very thorough bid before we chose him as a contractor, so there were no surprises.  He offered quite a few suggestions in the way the remodel was to be designed that proved to make the kitchen much more functional.  Any increases were things we changed / added. Cecil made frequent trips to our home to check on progress of the various subs and kept in contact with us regarding any changes in the original schedule he had given us.  Excellent workmen.  Person who put in the kitchen cabinets, tile backsplash and wood floor was a very meticulous craftsman,  Did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.  He created a barrier between the work area and the living room where we stored our furniture which almost eliminated construction "dust."  When the work was almost finished, Cecil made a detailed inspection and created a several page "punch list" of details (mostly very minor) that were  corrected before he declared the job finished.  Remodel did take several weeks longer than originally planned, but we made some changes that required rescheduling.  Only problem that we have found since the remodel was completed was one undercounter light that quit working.  Was quickly replaced.  I love the kitchen. <br />"

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Antelope, OR

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
