"Sorry to be so late with this review. Just as we were preparing to leave town in mid-July, 2018 our air conditioner stopped working . We called Matthew Roberts. One man came out and worked for quite a while, he called someone else they both tried several fixes, but nothing worked. We had an idea of how much a whole new AC would cost so when they gave us a quote we were ready to decide. They came out and installed the entire Trane system, inside and out, in one day so it was working when we left town. Very professional, neat, friendly and took old system away. Since then we've had a couple of issues: a snake got in the electronics of the outside unit, shut it down and a couple of other service calls were handled extremely quickly and most with no charge because unit was under warranty. Michael was often the repairman and we were extremely pleased with his work and service."

"We purchased a special for air duct cleaning for our new home. They came and cleaned all ducts and were professional. My criticism for quality has more to do with the fact they scratched up newly painted walls and baseboards with the vacuum and hosing. That may be something that is unavoidable, but I certainly did not expect it. They seemed to do a thorough job, but as I've never had this service before, I'm not able to truly rate."

"We bought a home that unfortunately had 2 units over 20 years old. We received a letter and coupon from Service Star for annual maintenance (addressed to previous owner). We had not been having any issues with our AC but thought maintenance was pretty important, especially with summer coming. Louis came out on Tuesday, April 28th and did a thorough inspection of our units. He was very friendly, engaging and we felt confident and convinced that he was quite knowledgeable in this field. Turns out there were big issues with our unit including the huge mold issue, coil issue, fire hazard issues, etc. (yikes!). Our units were working pretty hard and getting pretty hot and there was zero efficiency going on. Basically, the life of our units had come to an end. We opted to replace the units and he gave us a pretty good deal which included upgrading the digital thermostats (pretty awesome!). My husband is a vet so there was a nice discount I appreciated how he explained everything to us and outlined what replacing the units entailed. We were pleasantly surprised that they had the units available and could start the work that day! There was a two-person crew that came in around 3:30 and was completely done and cleaned up by 10:30 pm. No small project. They were professional, competent and worked diligently to completion. We were quite impressed and what a big difference in the quality of air! We can say enough good things about Service Star, we definitely recommend them for all HVAC needs. GREAT job Service Star. Triple-A rating!!"

They were friendly, kept me informed throughout the process, and responsive to my numerous questions and inquiries. "Very good. Workers were prompt and answered all questions. I would have preferred they had left the area cleaner, however, it was not too bad of a cleanup for me. There is a rattle in the system which they have agreed to repair. Overall, it was a good experience and was completed within a few days. I definitely will request their service again when needed. He located the part he needed, went and got it, and returned here in good time. He fixed my furnace and it is now working like new. Marcus is an asset to ABC. I also, as always, am impressed with and happy with service I received from ABC. They tell you up front what it is going to cost you and there are never any surprise fees. I would never use anyone other than ABC to maintain or repair my furnace, air conditioning, or plumbing."
