"Honestly, it went as well as could be hoped. I'm super happy with the work. Quoting: I got quotes from 7 companies. Van showed up on time. He was obviously an expert and not just a salesman. He was pleasant to talk to and even helped me to expand on my ideas for a better end result. Definitely seemed like exactly the company I was looking for. The price I got back was not the absolute lowest but it was very competitive (below the mean of the 7). Communication/Scheduling: Multiple people were communicating with me via email and text. I was able to keep in touch on a regular basis navigating weather, illness, pattern choices, color choices, work start, invoicing. The work: They were able to tear out my old patio and sidewalk, level my hilly yard, pour the new concrete, stamp it, seal it. I didn't expect them to completely avoid killing the flowers that came up next to the old patio but they did. I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The patio is beautiful and integrated in my sidewalks. Follow-Up: Obviously there's some yard destruction when you're leveling things and using heavy equipment. Van was ready with referrals to landscaping companies which could help make things right. What could be improved: Choosing a stamp is pretty easy. Choosing 2 colors which will interact is a bit difficult. I ended up having to search online for examples posted by others on how base color X will look when mixed with release color Y."

The Sotos crew placed down wood to protect the sod around the areas they were working and during the concrete pour put up plastic sheeting to protect the surrounding area. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. They matched finish texture to the adjoining concrete and blends well with the existing concrete in both locations. We would hire Sotos Concrete again."

We were actually out of town when they did the job, but our neighbor said that they did such good work and cleaned up their mess meticulously which I really appreciate and shows that even when the customer is not around, they take pride in their work. "In 2016 we downsized to a home that was a complete wreck and needed a total makeover inside and out. Included was a driveway that was originally concrete that had been covered with asphalt, some of the asphalt was chipped away. Anthony came highly recommended by a neighbor/friend/contractor who had used him on several other projects. We received 5 or 6 other quotes from big and little contractors (and several other no-shows), all came in 15%-20% higher than Anthony’s. Anthony was punctual, professional, courteous and understanding to our concerns and modifications along the way. The end result was a beautiful new driveway which added curb appeal to our home and functionality to our multi vehicle needs. One bright note after it was complete was having a couple of grade-school-age neighbor boys comment “we like your driveway!” Along with rave reviews from all the other neighbors. We were so satisfied with his work that the following Spring in 2017, we hired him to re-do our back patio (roughly 15’x55’)! Prior to that it was a combination of wood deck, crappy cracked concrete and a collection of paver stones. That Spring we were Blessed to have a warm early Spring in March that allowed Anthony to go to it giving us the rest of the Spring and Summer to add a gazebo, landscaping, etc. Thanks Anthony, you’re the Best!"

"Brian and his crew returned to my building on a warranty followup- their previous work done wonders for my flooding problems, but my foundation walls are apparently made of swiss cheese and there was one small seepage problem remaining which only shows up during a "100 year rain event".  Brian indicated that they go for 100%, not 99% and scheduled time to come back out to my building to address the issue under the warranty (a.k.a. free of charge) from the original work.  They came back out, dug up the foundation again, and found a crack hidden behind an old hasty concrete patching job that had been tarred over, which was determined to be causing the remaining seepage.  They repaired the crack and were done with the whole task in only hours.  I am a repeat customer, and can't say enough good things about Crawlspace and Basement Waterproofing solutions, they are friendly, helpful, and most of all, stand behind their work!

"Did a good job of removal and poured the concrete well. My only problem with the job is that after over two months later I still have a lot spots on the concrete. It looks like something was poured on it. Unattractive."

"We used Tony and crew in 2013 - he is a neighbor down the street and to know Tony and his wonderful family is to know you will be well taken care of. Tony answered any questions we had ahead of time promptly, We had some scheduling issues but only due to weather, and he was great at keeping us in the loop. I am happy to report that after three years the concrete still looked like new--virtually no cracks outside of the expansion joints, a beautiful finish texture and after years of driving on a half gravel, half concrete driveway that sloped TOWARDS the house I was just thrilled to have something that looked this nice...our driveway was one of the only ones that faced the road so the nice broom wave finish pattern just added to curb appeal. Loved the work, but not sure what I like more--the concrete or the man behind the mission. Thanks brother for great work! Hope to get to use you at the new place."
