"I first hired Westbrook to remodel a bathroom for me in summer of 2019. It was a gut reno, the room was back to the studs. Dave's team was incredible, the work is absolutely beautiful. The team was easy to work with and cleaned up the site at the end of the day much better than previous contractors I worked with. Dave had great suggestions for how to make what I wanted to do work. When there were a few difficulties with the pieces I ordered, Dave worked with the bathroom supply company to resolve them. This year in October, we had a water leak in our front hall. I texted Dave in a panic at 6:30 in the morning and he walks me through what to do and had the plumber he works with in my house by 9am. (Don't text your contractor at 6:30, it's not nice, but Dave is an absolute hero). The remediation crew (NOT Westbrook) my insurance company sent to deal with removal of the water damaged material was not good. They knocked things down without asking questions. They damaged my marble floor and they destroyed a plaster arch that was original to my 1920s house. It's one thing to bring a contractor in to make an ugly part of your house pretty, but it's heartbreaking to bring in a crew to try to restore your destroyed home. Dave somehow managed to put everything to rights. There was fine carpentry work (a built in bench/radiator cover/storage piece that had been destroyed), plaster work (restoring the arch, fixing cracks in the plaster caused by water damage), and for the few things he didn't do, he knew someone (like a marble refinisher to restore the floors the remediation crew damaged). I also want to say that it's incredibly hard having someone work in your home during the pandemic but Gustavo was excellent. He followed COVID safety protocols completely. My hall looks even better than it did before the damage (and it had been newly done when the damage occurred). I honestly can't thank Westbrook enough for making this incredibly difficult process as painless as possible. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them unreservedly."

"Hiring a contractor can be challenging. Let me simplify the process for you. Hire Above & Beyond Contracting for your next home project. Bud and his team just renovated our basement and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. They turned our cold, dark basement into a bright entertainment room with a sports bar. They brought our vision to life on schedule and on budget. Bud is extremely talented, knowledgeable and responds to text messages within minutes. When he tells you that he’ll be at your house by 8:00 AM, he’ll be there at 8:00 on the dot. He truly cares about the quality of his work and treats his projects as if they were being done within his own home. After spending 4 months working with him, Bud isn’t just our contractor for the next project…he’s a friend."

"We could not be happier with the job that Hire Her Home Improvement did on our ceramic tile floor. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the price was significantly better than an estimate we got from another company several years ago. Everyone who worked on the job was professional and polite, and they left everything as neat as pin, nice and clean. We also had some drywall repairs done, and new trim put in. It was so convenient to have one contractor take care of everything we needed done for the project. You will not be disappointed if you go with Hire Her!"

"We've worked with Gustavo on two projects and I would absolutely hire him again in the future. The most recent project was fairly large. We hired him as the general contractor to convert our unfinished attic space into two bedrooms and one bathroom. This involved demolishing a portion of the roof, framing a large dormer, and the entire interior, electrical, plumbing, insulation and all finishing. I could trust Gustavo throughout the process and could tell that he put great pride in his work and was always striving for quality. For example, I am not particularly knowledgeable about construction, but one of our neighbors pointed out to us that they noticed he was using high quality materials compared to the wood that comes from home depot. We had the architect on site several times throughout the project and he never had any concerns with the work being done. No issues came up during any of our inspections by the town and the building inspector also made comments to us that the work looked to have been well done. We got several bids on the project and I also appreciated that Gustavo gave us an itemized proposal including separating material and labor costs for all the work he was planning to do. He was also willing to work with us on creating a reasonable payment schedule for the project. The other project was more medium size. During our home inspection prior to purchasing our house the inspector identified that the construction on the deck in the back was done very poorly by the previous owners. The joists were all rotting, flashing was not installed correctly causing the sill plate of the house to begin rotting. The project involved repairing the poorly done work. The project was a few years back so I can't remember all the details, but there were no hiccups of note that I can recall."

"Anton was easy to work with. Sent email on a Sunday. He called in five minutes and came that afternoon to look at the job. Replaced baseboard in four bedrooms and repaired a hole in the ceiling. All work was completed in two days starting that Monday. The carpenter that did the baseboards (I think his name is John) was great, neat and did a wonderful job. I will definately call Anton again. "Very professional experience. Hector showed up on time to review the required repairs and provided excellent advice. The crew also came on time earl in the morning and worked on repair all of the loose flagstone and steps. Looks like new!! The work crew cleaned up after they were done. Would definitely would hire again. This is actually the second job Santucci Bros have performed for us. Both times great jobs!!"

"Juliano nice person but?I always get 3 estimates he was most reasonable but quality of work is just ok not great . Then year later called him and text for him to come look at his work wood splitting and now looking for someone to fix because he doesn?t answer my calls :( you get what you pay for I guess."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Miguel and his team on a major renovation of my house, which took about five months to complete. Throughout the entire process, Miguel was incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring that everything was done to the highest standards. His workers were always punctual, professional, and dedicated to their work. The quality of the renovation is outstanding, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Even now, if I run into any small issues, Miguel is always willing to come by and check it out, promptly fixing any problems. I highly recommend Miguel and his team for any renovation projects."

"I hired Elson and his team for a bathroom remodel of my mother’s home. They did a fabulous job. He was very communicative during the entire process and the cost was reasonable. I need to renovate my mother’s kitchen and will definitely call them again."

"Fine Construction did a terrific job of gut renovating a 1,900sf pre-war unit for my client who purchased the property. Client, and engineer, interviewed 3 contractors we recommended and chose Fine Construction. Project required a major re-design to add a 3rd a bedroom, flooring structure reinforcement, complete systems upgrades, kitchen, baths, millwork, detail finishing -- you name it they did it. Very pleased with the cost estimates, design advice and workmanship details. Processional service all along the way during months of work. Highly recommend Ciaran Strong and his team for any job, large or small. Contact me Bruce.Robertson@Compass.com, Assoc. Broker, COMPASS"
