"I had an emergency repair of a couple of water leaks from the main line of my house. Lonnie came right to assess repairs, left & came back within the hour to do the repairs. It's been over a month now & the repairs are holding up nicely. This is not the first plumbing/drainage job this company has done for me. "He confirmed there was a small leak but could not locate it exactly to be certain where to do the repair, because we were having roofing and remodeling done that echoed in the slab, so it was too noisy to hear properly with his listening equipment. The leak was small and not inside the house so we agreed to call him back at no extra detection cost when the other work was finished and he could hear. But in the meantime the tile company found the leak when they tore out the old tile and could see and hear it, so their plumber fixed it the cheap way by going through the slab since the floor was already out. I will be glad to call Mr. Morgan again if we have any more leaks. He is always prompt and capable and does no damage to our home."

"We contacted Callahan for repairing our bathroom which was in bad shape. Callahan gave a quote for reasonable price and assisted us in picking the correct materials for bathroom and did the work very well. We were quite impressed with him and so when a airconditioning unit stopped working we approached him and he gladly helped us to fix the unit. I can't say enough good things about these people!  I had a leaky bathroom faucet.  Two weeks ago I had another plumbing company who was also highly rated on Angie's List and who I have used many times in the past (but never again) look at the problem.  The technician from that company said I needed to replace the faucet. They were going to charge me $250.00 for the replacement faucet plus  $229.00 for the labor to install it. Since the faucet had been discontinued I was going to have to replace the other faucet in the other sink as well so it would match.  This was going to cost me $958.00.  I wanted a second opinion so I called Mark Masters Service Company that I also found on Angie's List. Seth, the technician was a very nice young man.  He showed up right on time. Within 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem as simply being a bad rubber washer that needed replacement.  I did not need to replace the faucet after all. I was only charged the minimum $79.00 service charge.  Mark Masters company saved me $879.00 !  By the way, the other company also charged me $79.00 for their service call which was totally worthless.

I contacted PHD for an estimate on remodeling my master bathroom, replacing my kitchen countertops/backsplash and to paint the exterior of my home.  Derek came out and walked through the process with me, making several suggestions which were very helpful.  I also received estimates from 3 other companies but I have to say the estimate provided by Derek was by far the most thorough and detailed.  Many other companies do not include all of the materials needed to complete a remodel such as tile, grout, plumbing and lighting fixtures, etc.  Derek included a very fair allowance for most of these items so the end result is a more complete estimate of the total cost.  Additionally, Derek was very responsive in providing revised estimates as I worked through the scope of what I wanted to do while trying to stay within my budget. 

Unfortunately I won't be able to proceed with my remodeling project at this time.  An elderly family member is requiring assistance with some critical  home repairs that I will be taking care of.  I decided to ask each of the contractors that I'd been working with if they would estimate this new work and all of them turned me away or referred me to local handymen except Derek at PHD.  He provided me with a quick/rough estimate which as greatly appreciated.

Ultimately PHD's estimates were the highest of the 4 estimates I received but I'll definitely consider PHD again when I'm ready to proceed with the remodeling project on my bath and kitchen.

"Storm responded promptly to my email and was able to come by the same morning. He determined that the turbines were damaged and would need to be replaced. We already had some of the roof shingles. Storm went to Home Depot and purchased the replacement turbines and installed them and replaced the necessary shingles. He inspected the roof and added some needed silicone caulk. Storm detected the smell of methane from one of the turbines and asked to take a look in the attic. He showed me where one of the bathroom vent pipes was clearly damaged and we agreed that he would return the next day to repair the pipe.
