"We have an old house with old plumbing. After several tries with other companies, we found Silverado and haven't looked back. Silverado has repiped half our home, replaced our water heater, replaced a sink, and has rootered and videoed our problematic sewer lines. Unlike experiences we had with other companies, their prices and recommendations are sensible and logical, and do not appear to be driven by commission. I *sincerely* hope that their recent ownership change does not mean a change to this practice, because we are so happy to finally have found "our plumber". All of the plumbers who have been to our home have been polite, friendly, and helpful. In particular, we are grateful for the courtesy, problem-solving ability, and diligence of Tim and Jack, who are superb. These individuals take the time to physically show you the problem and explain the options available and ramifications for each. Workmanship is careful and demonstrates thought as to usability, cost, and need. These are professionals."

"This was the only company willing to respond immediately. Mr. Alvarez sent a crew including his very experienced father, which we greatly appreciated. They were friendly and professional and worked hard to resolve the clogged sewer line, attempting numerous solutions. Unfortunately, the problem didn’t get resolved that day, as it required a more significant amount of work. Nevertheless, I would hire this company again."

"BB re-piped our home's water pipes in 2009 . They left the old galvanized water pipe's cut ends in the walls (the water lines run through the attic of a single story ranch style house).  <br /> Copy the link below into your browser to see an image for the setup of our old water system: <br /> http://i58.tinypic.com/2d7dlc8.gif <br /> We were unaware of the hot water recirculating line (installed by the previous homeowner) that was left connected between the old galvanized water pipes and the water heater. On Dec 6, 2014, <strong>our home was flooded</strong>. Water was pouring out of one of the galvanized ends in the wall. We traced the problem to the old hot water recirculating line. A check valve on the line near the WH had failed over time under pressure letting water back flow from the WH, back into the old galvanized system. <br /> BB admitted that the back flow from the recirculating line was the source of the flood. They disconnected and capped the recirc line at the WH on 12/9/14. BB admitted that they did not look at the water heater at the time of the re-pipe. BB admitted they were unaware of the hot water recirculating line that they left connected to the old system. BB agreed to cover the cost of the flood damage ($800), and our home is now back to normal. Thank you BB."

"Green Valley Water District called to tell me we were using a high volume of water most likely caused by a broken water line. I called Sahuarita Pumbing early in the morning. They said they would come over as soon as possible. When they arrived they checked the meter and noticed the meter was really flying around. Even though they were working on another job, they went ahead and made a temporary fix until they could return in the morning. The next morning a crew arrived and started to dig up the old line. By four o'clock the new line was in and the yard looked like the incident had never happened. My wife and I were very pleased with the work done and will definitely call Sahuarita Plumbing the next time we need plumbing services. <br />"

"The technician, Eric, was very professional, very knowledgeable, very efficient.  He diagnosed the issue, discussed it with me and then went and did the repair and the scheduled maintainence.  I am very pleased with the service and would gladly recommend Desert Valley Aire, and Eric, to anyone. <br> <br>"

"They have been great. They cover all appliances, heating, air, and plumbing. It is $60 for an initial visit to have a ticket open. They basically fix whatever the problem is, but any secondary damage, like in my case. I had a pipe burst. They helped me with the pipes, but all of the flooding, I had to go through my homeowners insurance as a result of that. It is a little bit of paperwork, but it has been working well for me.  <br /> <br /> I didn't do a whole lot of comparison shopping. The first year of service was a gift from my real estate agent. I don't think the price has been awful for what they have covered. I have just had great service and had no reason to change."

"I did not find this service provider on Angie's list! Found it on Google Search. The ones I contacted on Angie's List (four providers) were unable to come out the same day and the charge quoted was pretty much the same found on Google Search. Spartan Plumbing did come out within the hour and fixed the problem. So my experience with Angie's List was an unproductive use of my time and money. It may serve its purpose as advertised but with the information out there for all it seems useless. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Arivaca, AZ

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
