"Went amazing, Nick (highly recommend) came out to assess the situation on my 18 yr old (double drawer) dishwasher... he was careful not to break anything in the process, began trouble shooting parts, found out that likely due to heat and moisture of a dishwasher - the connector on one of the controller boards seems to not making good enough contact. He cleaned the connectors on both drawers before reassembly, and I had two fully working 18 yr old drawers on the spot with no new parts needed. Nick was also helpful to recommend brands that were less likely to see repair after purchase, I wasn't sure if I'd go with Fisher & Paykel again in the future - but I've had so few problems, and even now at 18 yrs the machines are working like new... so with Nick's insightful inputs, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Fisher/Paykel double-drawer model when I get to that point. I'm an engineer by trade, so I already know many of the likely appliance trades - and Nick of Sterling Appliance did a great job... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, especially if you no idea about the appliances and need to trust the repair service. :) Nick did a wonderful job, explaining what his concerns were - and wasn't pushing a bunch of unnecessary alternatives... he was there to help me understand how to move forward."

Umar and Jason went so far beyond the call of duty to help me buy and install a new washing machine the SAME day mine broke. This was not a normal emergency of having a broken washer. I was having a medical emergency with my daughter and needed a working washer. Umar and Jason shopped, bought a washer, and installed it the same day. They hauled away my old machine. Their fees which included the cost of an extra large Samsung washer were fair and reasonable. Last week it sparked and entirely quit heating . I called Ace Appliance Service on a Thursday afternoon. Mo came by on Friday morning, looked the microwave over, said he could get the parts and repair both the spindle and heating problem. He got the parts on Monday and repaired the over on Tuesday morning. So much for the big box outfit. Mo is a pro in every way. He will be my first go-to for any appliance problem."

He told me at each step what was checking out ok and then when he hit the decision point. I thanked him for his thorough approach and decided repair was not the prudent choice. "Company was the first to respond to my initial inquiry and a consultation appointment was easily scheduled for a convenient time that was very soon. The two technicians arrived on the day scheduled and within the timeframe provided and were safely wearing masks and social distancing in my home. (All appointments/approximate arrivals/on-the-way communications were emailed, clear and correct.) The problem of the control panel not working was diagnosed as needing to be replaced and a follow-up appointment was scheduled after the part located and verified to be obtainable. A quote for the part and repair was given before they left my home. The oven is 15 years old and the lead technician assured me, correctly, that it was much more expensive to replace than to repair. Repair time was scheduled, they arrived on time and quickly replace the part, and I now have my beloved oven working again! I made a down payment of a little less than the cost of the part and repair at the end of the initial appointment and the balance when work was completed."
