"We had Cody from First Aid Appliance come out and service our Whirlpool fridge, freezer, Bosch ovens, Thermador range & downdraft exhaust AND our LG washer. Cody was professional, on time and even communicated with us as he was on his way from previous job to give us ETA. He was able to assess each appliance, fix & repair what he could on-site and quote us for what parts needed to be ordered and what estimated labor would be. He was very honest about what needed to be ordered, explained everything so it made sense to my husband and I. He is definitely knowledgeable about appliances and knows his brands from years of experience working with them which was great since it seemed every single one of our appliances needed repairs or need to be replaced! Would definitely recommend Cody and First Aid Appliance to anyone looking for a dependable and honest repair company!"

"Aylon was professional and personable and on time. He diagnosed the problem and did a quick fix and did NOT overcharge for what turned out to be pretty simple...something other repair services do. I'd hire him again in an instant."

"This is the second time that we have used Appliance Pro. The first time was a couple of years ago to replace some parts on a new LG refrigerator that was still under warranty. Jonathan G. was also the technician who did our refrigerator appliance repair, and I was generally impressed with his work so we called again when our microwave died.
Overall, the repair was flawless from start to finish. For example, when removing the microwave from the cabinet, Jonathan asked us for a couple of old towels to lay on our hard wood floors to protect the finish. It also didn't take him long to diagnose the problem and repair it. Fortunately for us, the part we needed was on the truck, saving us time and aggravation waiting to get the correct part in later.
Appliance Pro is not cheap. At this stage in my life, I would rather pay a little more for a job done right than to hire a repairman who may or may not know what he's doing. My only suggestion would be that Appliance Pro offer a discount on their labor charge for Angie's List members and/or return customers.

"Sebastian scheduled my appointment for the next morning, arrived as expected, and fixed the compactor in a timely manner. He gave me tips on things I could do myself to try to fix the issue if the compactor broke down again. This was the first time I'd called on Appliance Zen and they'll be my first stop the next time an appliance needs help."

"I had some good experiences with Mike’s Heating. The best was the installers were very nice and friendly. They seemed to do good work. I really don’t have any bad issues. I think they could have done a little better with follow up in terms of checking how things were going, suggesting annual service and stuff like that. I haven’t really heard much from them since. I remember it wasn’t cheap, but it was reasonable, no worse than anyone else."

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!!
