"l, used materials that will not rot (original problem)Went extremely well. Came promptly each day, worked steadily and quietly, kept me informed of the process, clarified what was being done, cleaned up each day, took extreme care to remove and number the floor boards so they could be put back correctly after the floor joists were rebuilt (rather than having to buy new wood to match the old floor.), replaced them all absolutely perfectly. Sagging floor looks like new--perfectly levl--and floor looks exactly as it had been. cannot tell a part had been removed! Kept to his price, kept me informed of his progress. Came promptly everyday, spent long days on the job, very conscientious and dependable, cleaned up everything!!! All in all, an excellent experience.

"It is whoever they contract with. I pay monthly almost $40.00 but it includes both repair and replacement. This is for all appliances. I have a lot of old appliances in my home. I thought I would be using them a lot. I have not had not used them alot. I have 2 furnaces and they did replace one of them."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Ashtabula, OH

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
