This was a large residential job, and the Managing Partner (Ravi) made sure that all work was performed timely and for a reasonable price. Along with the pointing work, the company also replaced the lintels for most of my windows, which were extremely rusted, and again, the prices were reasonable. I appreciated that Ravi ensured that his team showed up at 8am everyday without delay, caused no disruption to myself or my neighbors, and never upsold on any service or material. Everything was upfront and straightforward, which is a rarity in New York City. I was so happy with the company's brick pointing work that I immediately retained their services for installing soffit on the rafters of the house, which also came out great. I enthusiastically recommend City Suburb, Inc for masonry or any major renovation."

"We hired JB to put in a short driveway and repair some broken concrete in front of our garage. It was a joint project with the next door neighbors, who also needed their bluestone sidewalk replaced with concrete in order to make a workable driveway. I asked if I could have the salvaged bluestone. JB took care of the city permits, and the workers were there at 8 AM, prying up bluestone and piling it neatly in my back yard. The driveway looks great."

"Bright Stone did a good job repairing the steps to my front door and the retaining walls in my drive way. He even pointed out additional repairs that should be done, which I had overlooked. However, I do feel that I was overcharged for the work and would definitely recommend negotiating (and getting a 2nd opinion). But overall Bright Stone did a good job and I am satisfied with their work."

"Rahat Construction has completed many exceptional home repairs on our 3-story brick building over the last decade. Most recently, Kazi repaired a leak in our roof, corrected the pitch of the roof, replaced the drain and drain pipe, re-flashed all seams on our roof, and coated it with a silicone roof sealant. In addition, Kazi repaired the ceiling of the top floor apartment, installed a new roof hatch, resealed all the windows on the back of the house, repaired some crumbling pointing, and scraped and repainted our fire escape. In the past, he's repoured the cement floor in our boiler room, replaced the ceiling in the basement, and more. He does fantastic work, exceeding my expectations in all cases and, importantly, always completes the work in a timely manner. His prices are always fair and the work is top-notch and on-time; what more could you ask for?"
