Lisa, at Fireside Sweeps was so kind and helpful to have the techs go to the home that very day I called and reviewed the situation. She had a list of suggested issues and the ballpark cost to repair. It was a huge situation as the current chimney needed to be replaced. That knowledge helped me to get the price of the home I purchased reduced so that I could have the needed repairs done when I arrived from Colorado and closed on the property. After arrival I contacted Fireside Sweeps again via email and Lisa set up a time for Steve the owner to come and review the job personally. He was here today and revisited the repairs needed and tonight (Saturday) I received the estimate (via email) to completely remove and repair my chimney and is trying hard to find a date and time he can fit me into the schedule before the snow flies here.
