"Dennis was nice to work with. He was professional, and did a great job explaining everything. I've had other roofs repaired and replaced, but repairing a tile roof was a first. When I called around for bids, there were not a lot of roofing contractors who would repair tile. The kind of tile used on the house is discontinued. To repair the roof, I had to wait for replacement tiles to be available from the tear off of another tile roof that was being replaced. Dennis explained that the chimney flashing needed repaired, AND the moss buildup in the roof valley was directing water right to the chimney. He explained his approach to scheduling roofs and repairs to me (first in, first out). A few of the other reviewers have grumbled about this, but I found it to be reasonable. I had no problems. The roof is repaired, clean, and looks a lot nicer. The price was fair. I'd hire him again."

"I now consider Heath and David EXPERTS in all things wood stove and or chimney related.  These guys were awesome, they had a great attitude and looked forward to the challenge of repairing my self inflicted problem.  They had all the tools and knowledge to repair my chimney piping and took the time to explain the best way to operate and utilize my efficient wood stove.  I felt like they treated me like family.
I highly recommend this company, you can never go wrong when you are dealing with good people.

1) bent existing backdoor awning.  Had to be replaced.

2) layed tarps/plywood on top of flower beds killing flowers underneath.

3) knocked over water bottle in attic making a water stain on bedroom ceiling.

4) left scraps on attic floor.

5)installed roof vents over area that didn't have a hole for the vent.

Note: they did resolve most problems and adjusted price for damages, but the management should have better control over the work performed.  They constantly complained on how much Angie's List was getting from the job!

"I needed my chimney cleaned as it had been awhile. Brandon showed on time, prepared and ready to get down to business. Once inspected, he informed me of the degeneration of the concrete crown and the repairs necessary to protect the structure of the chimney bricks. I agreed to a fair price for the repair and added in chimney toppers. Work was completed in one day. He even pressure washed and sealed the entire outside of my chimney. So happy with the improvements made and I highly recommend Soot Slayers for your next chimney adventure!"
