"We called 1-800 Water Damage after another contractor quoted us $4400 for clean up of the mold in our home. That just seemed like a ridiculous price and so we wanted a second opinion. Mike went out to our home and told me that there wasn't really a mold problem in the home and that what small amount was in there could be easily cleaned up without professional services. He did tell me that we would probably want to hire them to take care of the mold in the garage area, but not until after all alterations to the garage had been removed. He quoted a price of about $600-$800 for that job, which seemed very reasonable. Not only that, but our neighbor, who is helping us to handle all our home repair woes (we do not live in state) commented that Mike seemed to be much more knowledgeable than the last guy from the other company that went in there. It's nice that there are companies out there that are more concerned with being honest and actually helping and informing their customers than just taking their money from them. Thank you Mike and 1-800-Water-Damage! We have enough worries to deal with concerning the destruction of our home, we are so grateful that paying thousands of dollars for mold isn't one of them!"

"Called them at 0730 and they had a tech at the house by 0900. Laid down cloth throws on the floor to move his machine to the basement bathroom and then went right to work clearing the drain. Tree roots as usual. Reset the toilet, did a great job cleaning up the room and floor when he was done and was gone within an hour. Great service as usual."

"An upstairs toilet was getting repeatedly clogged for no apparent reason. Plunge it and it was OK but would recur. That one the plumber fixed in a few minutes. Remember this. A toothbrush can get snagged in teh turns and allow everything to pass but then clog repeatedly and never move --chuckle. Beware tooth brushes anywhere near the toilet. <br /> The downstairs one had a different problem and the plumber didn't have the tools to snake more thna the just the toilet. He found not problem there after some serious effort and decided it could be something similar which he just could get out of the toilet. So, we discussed it and he gave me good advice on a replacement toilet. Odd as it may seem, I think it was the right decision to replace this cheap toilet with a dependable more modern one. <br /> He came back out and set the toilet under the remaining cost of the special. The toilet works great now, both do. <br />"

"They are honest and do excellent quality work. In 2012 Mr. Rooter installed a new sewer line running from our house to the city main underneath the street, cost $6719. The original line from 1971 was ceramic pipe sections that were coming apart. To reach both ends of the pipe, they excavated deep holes near the house foundation and in the street. A new one-piece HDPE (plastic) pipe was pulled through the old pipe from hole to hole. The pipe was attached at both ends and the holes backfilled. This type of pipe will not break. They also installed two cleanouts in the front yard. Mr. Rooter took care of all the utility location, legal permitting, and road closure. They referred us to Wells Fargo Home Projects to do no-interest financing to pay the bill monthly over a one-year period. In 2014 they installed a new gas water heater and got the permits and inspection, cost $1329. We've also used Mr. Rooter many times to repair or replace faucets, install a kitchen sink disposal, and clear/repair drain lines."

"Jeff showed up on time, was super nice and repaired everything that I needed done. I had a problem with a new faucet that was installed by a prior general contractor; the gaskets were not seated properly and continued to leak. Jeff came out and repaired and when it started to leak again, he came out first thing in the morning and tried another repair approach which worked perfectly. Later that day he even sent a sweet little text checking in to see if all was good. Jeff is awesome and I recommend him to all Angie's List members. <br />"

"This was a project I probably could have done myself, but had no time. I pushed the first plumber on another offer to remove and install four bathroom sinks in two hours. I thought I would throw them a bone with this job. I really appreciated the quality of work performed and the professionalism provided. Keep up the great work! <br />"

"Because so many basements flooded in May and June, there was a backlog of work, so our property couldn't be done immediately. However, Dan came out to inspect right away after I called him. Even though he couldn't do the work immediately, he instructed me (and my teen boys) how to do an interim fix to at least let the basement dry out and not re-flood. It was ugly but it worked and it was easy! I really appreciate the respect and concern he had for us to enable us to do a temporary fix. <br /> When the time came for his crew to do the work, they showed up on time, parked thoughtfully in the cul-de-sac and driveway, and got right to work. They were friendly and polite and hard-working. They included me in the decision making, but obviously they were the experts, and I agreed with their suggestions about where to put the swales and water channels. They were even willing to work with the landscaping materials (river rock & pebbles) that we already had on the property, saving us all time and money. <br /> They used top of the line landscaping material, and were very careful when they drove the backhoe into our yard. I could not believe how hard they worked, and yet had a good sense of humor, and were pleasant to be around. <br /> Dan guaranteed the work, which proves how much he trusts his crew to do things right the first time. Since then we have had some major gully-washers and some days of slow steady rain, and an absolutely dry basement! <br /> I won't need to have them come back since they did it right the first time, but I wouldn't mind hiring them again; they were awesome to work with! I highly recommend DMC sewer and excavating, even if you have to wait, it's worth it! There's a reason they're so busy...they're the BEST! <br />"

"<p>I had a leak in my downstairs main floor ceiling. The plumber said I think it's a leak in your roof. We called someone to look at the roof and we replaced the roof. Meanwhile five bucket of water were gathering in this room. It turned out that I had a hot water leak, one of the pipes had a crack and no one could find it. We used Olson Plumbing and Heating Company to replaced the line. I've used them for years and their reputation is really good. </p>"
