"David and Zack came out to our house in December for a chimney cleaning and inspection. We knew we would be needing some degree of repair on our cap and pan, but David informed me that we had been fitted with the wrong size pan the whole time we have lived here and the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. We were quite frustrated that no previous chimney service company brought the issue to our attention before the damage was done, but David put together a fair and comprehensive proposal to fix the chimney. Huge job that David and Zack’s crew, led by Jerry, got done a couple of days faster than quoted! Special shout out to Christine at the office for her speedy and super helpful communication! We will definitely be hiring them for all of our maintenance going forward! I give Nevermore Services five stars because that’s all I’m allowed to give!"

"I had been fighting probems with rats getting in my house for years. I finally gave up when my dog attacked one in my kitchen and it Crawled under my dishwasher and died. Shinya came out removed it and gave me a fair price to do do the exclusion service. He went above and beyond and did much more than we had discussed for the same price. He placed traps and came back weekly until there were no more critters. We have now gone through a complete winter with nary a sign of any critters. What a huge relief. Shinya not only does incredible work, he takes the time to explain what is going on and why the critters keep coming back once they get in. I just wish I had done this sooner. Over the years I probably spent as much as I paid Shinya buying every trap imaginable. I would recommend shinya and his work to anyone.

"My roof had developed a small leak after the extreme downpours this summer. I was looking for a quality roofer to address the issue and found Dr. Roof after checking multiple sites and reading reviews. I contacted the company and scheduled an appointment with Jeff to perform a full roof inspection and address the leak. In addition to the leak, Jeff identified a few other small problem areas to include rotted trim around the chimney. Jeff wrote up a proposal on the spot. My only minor complaint would be that it took 3 weeks for an appointment to open up and to get the repair work scheduled, but I was willing to accept that as many of the better roofers are routinely backed up. The work crew showed up on the scheduled date and time. I was charged the amount originally quoted by Jeff. It's difficult to rate the quality of roofing repairs as most of the work isn't visible unless you're on the roof; but I can say that the repairs have held without any further leaks for the last 6 weeks to include making it through Hurricane Irma. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the work and would recommend the company."

"Overall, Bear Mountain did a good job re-painting my home. And you will probably find that they are cheaper than some painters if you get a lot of quotes. I would say you’ll be satisfied with the paint job, but don’t use them for any repairs, and be aware that they will do the minimum necessary to complete the job. You are getting what you pay for. A basic paint job. I do not like what they consider “touch up” and how they bill. It seems like touch up could be anything from a small missed spot, to an entire corner missed, to something in the contract not completed. In other words, I think they use “touch up” a little too loosely. Their invoices will state that payment is due upon “substantial” completion. So, as you could imagine, they will want payment and could consider many things touch up, when I would consider it, job incomplete. What happened with me is after a quick glance I thought they were 100% done, and didn’t even see touch up items, and I paid them. But, later on I noticed areas where the paint was thinly sprayed on, a corner board not painted, nail holes not filled in, and an attic vent I stressed should be painted with extra care because it’s really old wood, which was not. And with that vent screen which should be replaced which was not. I even reminded the lead guy while he was here. I played phone tag with them to try and get them back for touch up. I’ve been very busy at my job and would miss their call. I would call back and they would say that the person who called already left or was not available. Then I honestly was afraid even if they came back they wouldn’t do this attic vent right, so I just took care of it. I was afraid because they aren’t craftsmen or carpenters first. They are painters - even though they advertise they do all the repair stuff too. I would recommend you hire a quality carpenter if you need any repairs done. They replaced some flashing for me, attempted to screw part of it down through cement (unique situation - long story). You can tell they had trouble with this part and just left screw holes in a few spots where they couldn’t get the screws to grip into the cement. I also needed a fascia board replaced. They forgot at first, but did come back and did that on the last day. I know they forgot because why would you replace a board after painting the area? And, it was done in a rough manner in my opinion. It just seems like the carpentry side of their crew members may not be their strong suit. And because that’s the vibe I got - I didn’t want them to come back and attempt to re-do anything honestly. That parts on me I guess. In short, since they may not hurt your wallet as much as certain companies, I’d say, use them for your exterior paint job, but maybe before they come out, have someone else you really trust do any wood rot repairs, or other carpentry work. It also depends on how picky you are. Perhaps the level of quality I’m looking for just doesn’t exist anymore. Or, doesn’t exist in my price range."

"Bryan was very professional but friendly. He did his job and inspected everything. I do need to address some rust issues on the roof cap but he said we could do that if we wanted, just a matter of using high heat paint. He did give us his cost if we wanted to use him. Also answered other questions I had. Overall, very satisfied and happy with Southeast Chimney. I will use them next year and my sister is getting an appointment also. Canton and Jasper are two places contractors don't like to go because of distance from Atlanta, Alpharetta, etc. Very satisfied. A+."

"Excellent. Started on January 26th and expected to take 2+ days. Arrived at house at 7;30 am and began removing old shingles. New shingles and associated materials arrived by 8:00 am. On site was a Project Manager who has the GAF Factory-Certified Master Elite Roofing Certification, a Foreman and one roofing crew. The temperature was in the low 40s and around 10:00 am it began to drizzle. The Project Manager proceeded to bring in a second roofing crew to expedite the work. Under very adverse weather conditions on a very steep roof, work continued until 7:00 pm when it became too dark to safely work on the roof. By this time the new roof was approximately 98% complete. The next morning, one crew returned to complete the roof and thoroughly clean up the worksite. I found the workmanship and work ethic by everyone on site very impressive.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."
