"After the last contractor I hired damaged my sprinkler system, I needed a specialist to come in and fix it. If I had to describe Ever in a word, it's professional. He truly is a specialist and is great at what he does. He came in on time, evaluated my system, and came up with a solution at a very reasonable price. He also saw a space in my yard that could've used an upgrade. Within minutes, he sketched out a rough landscaping plan for the area that included DCG base, accent lighting, and a few succulents. "I had met with the owner of Bottoms Up, Gwyny a few weeks prior...she was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel confident that her team would do a great job. They did. Her 3 man crew arrived on time and after I showed them the trees, they immediately began their work. They were all so friendly, courteous, hard working, and very meticulous...after they left, the trees looked great, and the area around the trees was completely cleaned up and tidy....the only evidence that they had been there, was that the trees looked perfect! "Nick was great, very personable. However, he wanted to charge us a fee to draw anything up before the work began. I understand the point of a design fee, and know that it's not uncommon. But we were only wanting a sketch as we talked about it, and instead, he wanted something like $350 with only a small portion of that going to the overall price. We discussed how we'd use the Angie's List deal (if I'm not mistaken, it was $2800 work of work for $1499 including 15 plants, succulents costing more, and a line of water to be laid down - the deal is now gone). I provided 9 plants, pavers and a tree myself. I'll also state - he asked me to pay a portion up front, and the remainder at the conclusion of the job, instead of going through Angie's List for payment. The guys worked quickly, and were polite and friendly. They finished in 2 days. A week later, one of the valves busted on the sprinkler system, and our backyard flooded a bit. Their guy came out the following day and replaced the defective part, and dug up our drain. That was 2 weeks ago, and the yard is still a bit muddy - not their fault, obviously. But I wanted to provide photos of the work. It's beautiful, they did a great job. We have a decomposed granite path from the side of the house to the back door, and all the rest of the area is mulch and several plants. My issue is that the invoice I received is very "general". See photo. I requested via text message a more in depth invoice after the fact, and was told by Nick that "that would be it." I see no evidence that I got the Angie's List deal, nor any credit whatsoever for the plants I provided instead of using his. Looking back, had I purchased the package through the website itself, perhaps he'd have a better accounting of the various aspects of the job. We have one of four sections of the backyard now complete, and to be honest, I don't believe we'll be using this company again. It's a huge yard, and a very costly endeavor. We just want to know where our money goes/went."

"Wesley and his Sierra ***** Landscape crew are great! We started to redo our backyard when we moved into our house in Monrovia, but we got too busy and didn't know how to approach the space, so our backyard has spent the last year and a half filled with dirt, weeds, and leftover bits of concrete and rock from our cleanup work. We finally decided to call a pro, so we gave Wesley a call. He listened to our wishes, drew up a landscape plan at no cost, and provided a reasonable quote for all of the work. He was very communicative during the early process to get the plan and budget where we wanted. Within a week and a half he and his crew demolished the existing cement patio, repaved, weeded, leveled the yard out, added a drip system for our fruit trees and any future plantings, laid down sod and a sprinkler system, and added wood chips. Our yard looks amazing! He was easy to talk to throughout the whole process and his crew was efficient and clean. He has also come back up multiple times since completion to check on the project and the watering on our new grass - it's clear he cares about his work and his customers. Couldn't recommend the team more!"

"George emailed me two days beforehand to setup a time. I give him a two hour window that worked for him. He came promptly at 8:30 am, Monday morning, 11/28/16, and left at 12:30 pm. He came inside with his toolbox and started right away on assembling my two small tables. They have been sitting in a box for over one year. George also installed some 3 doorknob sets but needed to make adjustments with the door frames so two doors could close properly. He also installed much needed rack on my bedroom door to hang all my dog leashes and harnesses. The window covering hardware in the Master bedroom was changed out also. He took measurements when needed. He was accurate and did not make unnecessary or incorrectly placed holes in the plaster walls for installation. George does excellent work and is efficient. He is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire him for future services."
