"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. "Over three years ago I fortunate to find Taylor Made Custom Contracting to work with on the remodel of my newly purchased 1959 house in Bel Air. Kevin was a joy to work with and totally got the remodel I was trying to do, which was easier said than done. Some of the features I wanted were nontraditional to say the least, and on top of that I had not actually moved into the house yet. Kevin had the additional pressure of working with me long distance! With all of that on the table, the construction job could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Kevin's flexibility and the skills of the crew, and lots of texts, emails, calls, and photo tours. "AES renovated two bathrooma and a half-bath for us. They have a thorough process and a caring, responsive team. Our project began with a detailed review of our wish list and cost estimate. The designer took us shopping for beautiful modern finishes that fit our style and budget. The installers/builders are highly skilled, worked efficiently and perfectly, and checked with us throughout the process if details needed to be ironed out. The Project Engineer stopped by several times for status checks both during the job and after completion. At the end of the job, we were left with an amazing transformation of our rooms into beautiful, functional spaces that are structurally superior to the original build."

"Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways."
