I have an older home with all the challenges that come with that on a remodel and their attention to detail was perfect. The team that completed this project were outstanding from start to finish. They were knowledgeable and professional. They worked with me on a couple of design changes mid project and knew just what to do to make everything look like it had always been there. I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years, both in my work life and on home projects, and these guys know what they are doing. "Roger was on site early. He was very detailed with the home inspection and really wants to teach home buyer about their potential new home. He was responsive to calls and messages immediately. Had all necessary tools with him to complete the job and walked every inch of the house. Answering any questions as we went along. Appreciated the teaching aspect he gave during the walk! I also loved that a Binder was given to me with a breakdown of each room of the house as well as in and outside of the home. Made it easy when I got home to discuss the key take away points of repairs and potential costs needed. He even agreed to do inspection on a Saturday so I could be available to walk with him. Would highly recommend this company if you need a home inspection at a fair price done right."

"The guys at Historic Restoration did a fantastic job. They were right on time everyday of the job. They also completed the job on the day as promised. They were also very helpful and patient with me picking out a paint color. I was also very surprised how CLEAN they were. Everyday they wiped down the entire work area and mopped my wooden floors, leaving virtually no dust (which is inevitable for plaster/drywall work). I barely knew they were there during the job. The paint job was perfect--straight lines and no spills! I would highly recommend this company for any kind of home repair."

"Mr. Blankenship and his designer met with us multiple times to help us figure out exactly what we wanted to do and gave us estimates on the cost of all the different options so that we could make knowledgeable decisions that helped us get the very best outcome and stay within our budget.  Mr. Blankenship went out of his way to meet with us when our schedule allowed and was always professional.  They provided us with drawings and detailed contracts outlining exactly what would be done.  Once the work began they worked diligently to finish the projects.  One of my neighbors remarked that they seemed very conscientious and that he wished he had used Alternative Building Concepts on a job he just had done.  Mr. Blankenship even came out several times just to meet with the carpet layers because he wasn't happy with some of the seams.  All the work they did was first rate and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.  Everything Alternative Building Concepts did improved our home and we would not hesitate to use them again.
