They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. "I called Waterproofing Inc on a Wednesday and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate for Saturday. Steve promptly came at the scheduled time and we reviewed the situation in my basement.   I told him of my goal to have a finished DRY basement.  He looked at my existing pump and drain. He suggested that I could apply (or have applied) plastic sheeting to the walls to help with the seepage problem. However, he doesn't do that type of work. He also asked me what I thought the problem was with the moisture problem. He suggested that he could extend the current waterproofing system along the entire back wall and gave me a written estimate for that work. The reason that I rated him a B and said I would hire him was because I didn't feel confident in his diagnosis of the root cause of the water problem and his proposed solution to address the issue so that my basement could be dry. I am looking for a one stop shop with a solution driven individual who comes in as a problem solver. I just didn't get that from Steve. He didn't even look (or ask to look) outside the house to see how the water comes off the back of the house where the problem is.  I'm guess if I just wanted someone to drill up the concrete and put a drain in, he would be fine because his price was reasonable for that work. But I'm looking for a holistic solution provider who will address all issues with the most effective and efficient techniques to keep my basement dry.  I just wouldn't hire him for that role."

"We had an old driveway that needed to be resurfaced as well as widened. I rejected other companies because they were not focusing on the sub-base for the new section. FCP not only promised, but also delivered a perfect product -- from sub-base of stone and asphalt to the final top layer in exactly the shape and dimensions we required. The whole crew was experienced and worked with me to make this a perfect job."

"I wasn't happy with him at all. He wanted his money before I had a chance to see the final product. He wasn't honest with me. I told him before he even started the job, I said that job has to be finished when I'm here to see the final product. He agreed to that. Then, the day that he was due to finish, I said, I'm not going to be here. He goes, trust me ma'am, I've been in business blah blah, blah. I'm on Angie's List and my rating is blah, blah, blah. Against my better judgement, I left him a check and the work when I quickly looked at it, it looked alright. upon further inspection, they had messed up and they had put a big hole in the back of the concrete patio. They had fixed it but they did such a lousy job of fixing it, I had to hire another contractor and pay him $200 to fix what they did. The concrete he did for my driveway is already cracking and he just did this work in 2013. I would never recommend him to anybody. He came in over budget which was alright, I accepted that. He did come back to the house. Where I asked him about the area where ti look like he had thrown grout or something in this big hole it had been in, I wish he had told me upfront where we put a big hole in the base of your concrete and this is what we did. He didn't tell me, I found it and asked him about it. I said, I think that should be smooth though and that looks terrible. Oh no, I'd leave it along. I just went and hired a guy that's sort of an all-purpose handyman that I knew. It took him four hours and he charged me $200 to smooth over the big clump of it looked like grout to me that the guy had just put over to cover the big hole. The only nice things I have to say about the man is that when I asked him questions, he did come back to my house and looked at the concrete. He was polite but I just wasn't happy with the work he did."

"Jesse and his team delivered a fantastic sidewalk, steps, retaining wall and front stoop. From concept to completion there was never a question that Jesse could not answer. He took time to meet with us, gather information and then promptly send us examples, ideas and feedback. We had a rough idea of what we wanted and Jesse worked with us to get the project the way we wanted. We had met with several other companies as we went through the bidding process and Tillerman Gardens had the best price and responsiveness. I would definitely use Tillerman again and would refer them to a friend or neighbor without question."

I had kept a flyer from Mailbox Xpress for several years, knowing it would need it. I visited their website to see if the offerings were still valid and learned I could still get the box and post my HOA requires. I called Mr. Hughes to see if installation was included, and learned that it was. As a result I placed an order with him, one he promised to fill within one or two days, which was fine with me.

The following day he delivered and installed a high-quality post of painted seasoned wood without cracks and with all the joints caulked before painting, and set in concrete. He mounted a steel mailbox to replace the plastic box the unnamed prior vendor supplied ten years earlier, mounted the required house numbers on both sides, and touched up the paint. The box looks great!

Mr. Hughes was courteous, friendly, and easy to work with. And as work orders kept him more than busy and I was the last customer of the day, he did my installation at about 8PM, long after other would have gone home, but I still got an installation much better than both the two previous (one the builder's original, the second by my neighbor after her guest backed a car over it).
