"The first time I used Rock Creek Roofing and Construction was for the electric line install from my house to the new shop I had built. They did a great job and I haven’t had a bit of trouble. They also tore out and installed carpet for my whole house. They were quick and clean taking all the old carpet and cleaning up scraps. The job was complete in just a day and a half. The biggest job Rock Creek Roofing and Construction has done for me is replacing my roof and siding on my new shop. The crew came in and took the old shingles off and started replacing them on the first day. They were able to finish putting the new shingles on and cleaning up the next morning. Most of which was cleaning up and making sure there were no nails or shingles on the ground. The gutters and siding on my new shop had hail damage and had to be replaced. "Our main line backed up into our basement. Total nightmare. The house is 55 years old so no surprise. I called and Anthony came in about 10 minutes because he was close. That was unbelievably awesome. He was able to quickly clear the blockage and all is well. Due to a big old tree and an old line we'll need to replace the sewage line eventually and we know who'll we'll have do it. DTS was fast, polite, effective, and clean- he was concerned about bringing the auger over our old ugly carpet. Highly recommended."

He did a good job. The only thing I did not like about it was that he did not pick up very well after I got done. They left too many nails in my driveway. I had three other people give me a bid and his prices were pretty close to everybody else. He had something that nobody else was offering so that made it easy to pick him. He was very busy so it took about six weeks or two months to get to my house. He had about four other jobs and I guess I did not print out the contract like I was supposed and send it back to him. That was my mistake. Their punctuality was good. They were always there the first thing in the morning. The sun would be coming up and they would stay late. Their professionalism was good. I would recommend them.

"What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. "Very happy with the job and the process. Dan Ryan spent a good deal of time planning how to deal with some odd features with our roof and was more thorough than the other companies in the planning stage. He worked quickly with the insurance adjuster three times. His crew was punctual and professional and kept the site clean. No surprises except some bad decking which Dan worked with the adjuster to cover. The whole job was completed in 12 hours. I would use them again.

tProject was bid last Fall and delayed at our request until Spring. The original bid was probably underpriced due to a miscalculation on their part but they stood by their bid. We discussed using pre-colored Hardyboard but Brian convinced us that a better result would be obtained by using the non-colored siding and then painting. We worked pros and cons to wrapping eves as opposed to using Hardy products. When the weather finally cooperated, the crews started arriving. They took pictures of the house before starting, so they would remember how everything went back. The crews they use for siding installation, painting, and gutters were all sutcontractors but top notch. Brian was the company project manager and he kept me informed of plans and suggested changes. The gutters were originally bid for 5 inch gutters but after re-evaluating our roof runoff, they upgraded to 6 inch w/o additional charge The siding crew were just amazing. Arriving early morning and working non stop until there was no more light. They were exact in their measurements and always in good spirits and very respectful of our personal space. They were not used to working on a rolled steel roof so their ladders scraped some of the finish off but quickly repaired it after I pointed it out  They cleaned  the site up completely at the end of each day...and believe me their is lots of trash in a project like this.  They could not figure our how to get my nightscape lighting back on correctly, so they paid for the original company to come out and re-install it. The painters were another crew that did great prep work and worked well with the siding crew. The gutter crew were done in a day.
