"We are very pleased with our bathroom remodel. USA Cabinet Store did a fantastic job on our custom cabinets and countertops. Perfection at its best. Every drawer and cabinet lines up perfectly. Tony was very patient with us picking out materials as well as helping us design cabinets that met all of our needs. He took all the time needed to get it just right. We never felt rushed. Our calls or texts were always returned well within a reasonable amount of time. We would definitely use USA Cabinet Store for our future projects."

"Before you read all of this - and I have deleted some - know that I was very much and pleasantly surprised to receive a check in the mail with a nice note apologizing! Let me say that up until now, his work was beautiful. He is talented. BUT he should never ever have agreed to do this job. Why? Because as he himself states, he is not proficient in the use of drawer glides. I sent him pictures of the cabinet and told him what I wanted and he said yes, he could do that. I paid to have the piece delivered to him. I went there and we discussed what I wanted and he made suggestions. The drawers would fully extend and the depth would accommodate the CDs on end. Great. Just what I wanted. Did I want fully extendable drawers? Yes. HOWEVER, when the job was completed and I went to his shop to see it, the drawers are beautifully made, the decorative element on the front does slide out from the piece BUT the drawers did not open and close with ease, much less smoothly and certainly did not self-close without a push. This was when they were empty. He said they were the "only slides available" to him. I said what about Home Depot or Lowe's, they have fully extendable and self closing drawer glides. No, he ordered them from somewhere by the weight of what I wanted to put in them. We are talking about. By the weight? We are not talking about pots and pans here or china plates, we are talking about 2 rows of 25 CDs each.Anyway, he assured me these were the only ones available to him for what he wanted them to do and that when they had the weight cds in them they would work properly. Of course I believed him not to mention I hate disagreements. Well, with the addiditon of the Dcs and DVDs, the drawer situation was worse. Then out of the blue - the note and a check! I used the money to have the glides replaced and all is well. So, all is well."

"Exceptional! Still amazed that I have a brand new kitchen and bath for such an affordable price. Ed came out and gave me a quote which was lower than all other bids, yet included so much more. On day 1 the kitchen tile was not laid in the direction I had requested and Ed had them tear it out, pick up new tile from the warehouse and reinstall the next day! Very impressed with his integrity. Sandi coordinated all the crews very timely (Tile, Cabinet, & Granite). Only 3 weeks total! Have already referred to friends & neighbors."

"Great Priced Granite was the most responsive, most straightforward, most affordable company I found.   I took the time to get  7 other estimates, so I did my homework.   Carlos and Natalia were attentive and prompt in providing the info I needed to get started.  They were so patient and prompt  in responding to my many hypothetical scenarios and changes in what I wanted included.   <br /> I even had a wonderful experience at the granite yard.  I got to pick out my gorgeous granite  and found the 40/60 sink that I really wanted, which saved me a lot of time and money.   Luiz came to do the actual measurements and pick up my deposit.   Such a nice young man!      <br /> Natalia had assured me this was a one day install and when the installers didn't arrive until around noon, I was plenty nervous.  My team arrived - Mario, Jose and Darlene - and got straight to work.  They spread tarps to protect my floors and ran the vacuum as they worked to help try to minimize the dust.    Gotta give them an A+  for the effort, but there is just no escaping the dust.   They swept and washed down the drive, too.   They were very careful about trying to keep my current backsplash in good shape since I wasn't ready to change that yet.    They worked very hard  and cleaned up beautifully.   <br /> I discovered a little bit of water under my new sink the next evening and sent an email to Carlos and Natalia.   I heard back from Natalia first thing in the morning and my wonderful crew came back out.   To my embarrassment (and relief) it was no longer leaking when they were here.   I felt terrible because I wasted their time, but they were so understanding about it.   Mario said it was just like taking your car to the shop and it suddenly stops making the noise that made you go to the shop in the first place. <br /> I love my new granite counters and will definitely be using Great Priced Granite when it is time to do my bathrooms.   I will gladly recommend Great Priced Granite to anyone interested and have already done that twice in the 24 hours following our install.    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We couldn't be happier with the work that Sammy and his team did on our main bathroom remodel. We loved it so much we decided to have hadour kitchen done too!! From the consultation process right through to clean-up, we were impressed with their professionalism, honesty and attention to detail. Sammy is an excellent communicator: he really listened to what we wanted, had thoughtful advice and suggestions for us to consider, and was always just a phone call or text away. They were always on time and did a great job controlling the mess and cleaning up each day. Their workmanship is truly what impressed us the most: the tile work is outstanding, and I'm in love with our custom cabinets! I would highly recommend The Peraltas, and we look forward to working with them again on our next project!"

"<br /> <br /> <br />  Levi, the owner was very helpful <br /> in the planning stages of this project.  <br /> I had wood floors that needed to be removed, and had concerns about the <br /> direction of how the new wood should be laid.  <br /> Levi racked the wood each way so that I could see how the rooms would <br /> look.  He had a competent crew that came <br /> to work each day and worked a full day to get the job done.  Levi came by to check on the work and see if I <br /> was happy with the results of that day.  <br /> The crew was efficient and made changes in some of the boards so that I <br /> was always pleased with the results. I am very, very pleased with the results, <br /> and would highly recommend his company. <br /> <br /> Sincerely <br /> <br /> Eileen <br /> Perlmutter"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Bay City, TX

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
