"My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.

"No complaints. The Technician was professional and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I used an Angies list coupon for one of the jobs and it was a fair price. The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"I had the guys at Houston Car Stereo install and touchscreen Kenwood system in my 2000 Lexus LX450 a year ago.  Since then I purchased a 2007 Ford F-150 that had a stock radio and I wanted to upgrade to a touchscreen that had Apple CarPlay. 
I stopped by Friday and visited with Dia and he recommended the Alpine iLX-007.  I dropped off my truck Saturday morning at 9 and it was ready at 10:30am.  The install looks awesome.  Very clean - looks factory.  When I was picking it up I asked about a backup camera and they installed it on the spot.  It integrates seamlessly with the Alpine receiver.  If you have an iPhone, check out the new receivers with CarPlay.  I am really enjoying it.
The installation work is professional.  The unit fits perfectly, the Ford steering wheel controls work with the new Alpine unit, the back-up camera automatically comes on when the truck is in reverse, the Apple lightning cable installation is nice.  Really professional job.
When I was there I asked them to adjust the view of the back-up camera they installed a year ago on my Lexus.  No problem!  Adjusted at no extra charge even though the original installation was a year ago.  
Mohamed and Dia are great guys to work with.  Honest and they want you to be happy.  The shop gets really busy sometimes, but when it's slow they are also really interesting guys to visit with.  They go the extra mile to meet your needs as a customer.  Mohamed even picked me up at home so I could drive the truck back.
This was my second time to use Houston Car Stereo and I have been very pleased both times.  I can't imagine going anywhere else for car stereo needs.
