"Brandon with Brazos Plumbing arrived as scheduled and examined my issue, quoted a price the the job. He had to go for parts then replaced the broken pipe He was very efficient and I was very comfortable with how he explained what he was doing. Since my job involved replacing pipe he did have to wait for adhesive to bond giving him time to complete 3 other jobs as well in my area. His work ethic was outstanding and I will definitely contact him for any future projects."

"Awesome job. Lee and his crew are always very professional and do GREAT work. I have used Bay Coast on this new construction add-on, 2 Repipes and several repairs. Very good work."

"My kitchen sink wouldn't drain. Called up Genesis Plumbing Repair and they were clear on pricing and time they could show up. Once they arrived, it took maybe 10 minutes to clear out a grease clog 65ft out from my sink. They made it look easy peasy! They're also a 24 hour on call service, if you have a plumbing emergency! It's very nice to have that service so close, here in Porter. They'll definitely be my go-to in the future!"

"This company is so courteous, honest, responsive and the work is perfect. Replaced all pipes in the house with PEX, replaced outside faucets, installed new water heater. Left no mess, and any cutting into the wall was made in a very inconspicuous manner, left covered by small plastic plates. The staff are very helpful and respond very quickly. The estimate given was the exact amount with no upsell or added charges."

"I have used Kephart Handyman Services for several years. They have installed exterior lighting, power vents on our roof, repaired/replaced exterior wood that was rotted, replaced damaged fascia and soffetts, and painted the exterior of our house. Barry's brother Bill installed a PlexiDor through-the-wall dog door; he and the rest of the crew appear to take pride in their work. They are all kind and respectful. I like and trust them all. Barry prepares the estimates and schedules the work. While the work was in progress Barry came by our house almost everyday to insure the timeliness and quality of the work. If I ask Barry a question that he doesn't know the answer to he doesn't blow smoke; instead he says he doesn't know but will find the answer and get back to me. I feel I can trust someone like that. Barry is a pleasure to deal with. I hope they stay in business for a long time. I recommend Kephart Handyman Services with out hesitation"

"Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows. I highly, highly recommend hiring him and his team (some of whom have been with him 16 years) He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!"

"TL/DR version: Gary Frith dba HoustonHandyman.com can skillfully and cost-effectively fix or improve almost everything in your house. As the proverbially and prodigiously skilled jack-of-all-trades, he will earn and keep your trust. And you're going to end up giving his name and contact info to your own friends, who in turn will thank you profusely! Full version: With scheduling & support from his partner & spouse Lorena, Gary just finished (in January 2020) a multi-day home maintenance & repairs project for me. I'm a repeat customer, having engaged Houston Handyman for a similar project in 2011. Both times, he's resolved to my complete satisfaction an entire punch-list of nagging problems with my house — the elimination of which has made my everyday life much more convenient and pleasurable. His tasks for me, then and now, have included the installation of ceiling fans, recessed lighting, and switchboxes in several rooms; replacement of corroded faucets and toilets; a thorough roof inspection with multiple small fixes (many of which were correcting work done wrong by less meticulous and skilled workers); hanging several flatscreen TVs (with cabling concealed); cabinet repair & shelf-building; installation of doggie doors; and a bathroom tile project that still looks and functions like new nine full years later. For the relatively few kinds of tasks which he doesn't do regularly, he's nevertheless given me good, free advice, and several referrals to skilled and like-minded tradesmen. Gary is gregarious and straight-forward by nature and communicative by trade — which is to say that he will point out costs and benefits you may not have considered, he will share with you his own recommendations and ideas, and he will fully inform and involve you at every step of the way. He has a common-sense approach, and he will execute your instructions with integrity and skill. And Gary is the consummate small-businessman who depends on repeat and referral business: He stands behind his work, and you won’t get shuffled off to some clueless subordinate or subcontractor. Gary did comparison shopping online to get me the best prices on materials. He actually reads the instructions on products (like my fancy new, entirely decadent toilet seat that needed electrical and plumbing connections for its bidet functions)! Heck, Gary was even nice to my dog, who I think has concluded that Gary is now a member of our extended family. My dog’s not wrong. Gary & Lorena Frith’s results will more than satisfy you: They will GRATIFY you, based on both quality of the work and the reasonableness of his charges for it. And you will wish every tradesman you're obliged to hire were as rewarding to deal with as HoustonHandyman.com."

"He has been excellent, is very thorough and is not happy unless I am happy. He is the best I have hired of handymen and I would highly recommend him."

"Halo replaced two 40 gallon water heaters in the attic of our 3 story townhome. A team of 3 came to work on the job. They worked fast, were clean, and respected the space. They explained what they were doing each step of the way if we had questions. Work was done in about 3 hours. Would highly recommend!"

"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."
