Recently I engaged Andy to service our well-water acid neutralizer tank, because I questioned the reliability of service by another company 13 months earlier. Andy tested our water and found that its pH value was 6.97, which was consistent with previous readings over the past six months when he did other work for us. Because our well-water pH is essentially neutral, Andy explained the acid neutralizer tank is not necessary. He offered two options: 1) remove the tank (thus leaving us with only the water softener tank) or 2) empty it, which option I selected. He also reduced the cost of the service call. Andy’s approach starkly contrasts with the other company that for years took advantage of an unsuspecting customer by charging almost $300 to “service” the tank and unnecessarily adding expensive calcite. I interviewed three contractors for the job, all seem very decent, but what set Best Home apart was Jeff Segovia. "Needed to replace a 25+ year old HVAC system in the coldest months of the year, so I contacted Advanced Environment Solutions for a bid. I worked with Tammy at AES to schedule the inspection, follow-up, etc. - a fantastic employee. Courteous, professional, and really knows her stuff when it comes to HVAC. Unfortunately, I live in a condo with a tricky indoor/outdoor HVAC set-up that ended up requiring a fairly specific indoor unit that AES did not offer, so I had to go with another company. "We would like to say thank you to KBA Kitchen & Bath Design & Build for a great job remodeling our two upstairs bathrooms. The two bathrooms were completely renovated in 5 weeks, but it could have been finished even sooner if we hadn’t selected a premium option for our shower glass enclosure. The entire project was started and finished between January 21, 2025 until February 28, 2025, which included the crew working two Saturdays, which shows their dedication in getting the job done.
