"Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."

"Had our roof replaced, looks like a clean install. Trey was easy to talk to and was very assuring. We'll see how the roof holds up against this weekend's snowstorm or whatever's coming our way. Yes I copy pasted my own review from Google Reviews."

"Andrew arrived on time. He was professional and courteous. He answered all my questions, and seemed quite knowledgeable.
He put on booties before entering the house, and there was no mess in the bathroom after the work was finished (replacing tank flapper). 
As part of the service, he inspected the water heater, explained that the balloon was filling with water, and that the water heater should be replaced soon. It is 14 years old. He said it could last another month, or several years, but it was not a good sign that the balloon was almost full of water. After a quick and cursory glance online, I'm thinking that his recommendation seems valid and trustworthy. I'll do more research, but so far so good.
I will see how well the repair works out (there was a small leak that caused water to refill periodically in the tank).  As long as I don't hear the tank refilling at odd times, this review will stand "as is." If I hear it refill, I'll adjust this review.
So far, overall I'm happy with the service received today.

"After receiving bids from several companies, we selected Sunshine Contracting to replace all of the windows in our house with Sunrise windows, do a complete removal and replacement of all of the siding on our “Tudor style” house with James Hardi fiber cement siding, and replace all existing gutters and downspouts. This job was particularly complex due to the style of the house and the multitude of “Tudor style” architectural designs that needed to be maintained and replicated with the James Hardi fiber cement boards. This was also a challenge because the previous trim boards were all rough sawn cedar and the stucco panels and lap siding were vintage 1979 Masonite. The quality of the work performed by Sunshine Contracting was outstanding, and yes, we would contract with them again if we had to do it all over again. Their professional siding craftsmen had experience in re-siding Tudor Style homes and were able to replicate all of the intricate carpentry previously done in the rough sawn cedar with the James Hardi fiber cement board. Any concerns or issues that we raised, were immediately addressed by the team and corrected. The Project Manager and Team Leads were always there and available to us, and answered all of our questions. The whole crew was very professional and friendly, and they did a great job cleaning up after every working day. Sunshine Contracting has now taken us from a home that required outside maintenance on a regular basis, to one that is essentially maintenance free! "Jorge, Jorge Jr. and their crew are a VERY professional outfit. After taking several estimates from the top-rated Angie's listed contractors in my area, I decided to go with George's Painting based not only on price(his estimate was about the median of all) but based on the very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable Jorge. He came onsite to do the estimate, and made me feel very confident in his crew's ability to do the job.
He impressed me with his knowledge of the process of cleaning and staining fences and decks.  Every question I had for him, he patiently answered. His group also did some minor carpentry work--replacing damaged fence boards and 4x4 deck posts-- Both performed to perfection. Jorge also stood out by mentioning that he preferred to use premium products so the job would last.
His crew was onsite promptly when promised (8:30 meant 8:30, not sometime around 10) Each crew member was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and did an excellent job.
Any time I had to contact Jorge (as we were working on the final scope of work, etc..) he responded in a VERY timely manner.
The end product is the BEST looking back yard in my town-home area.

"We had a flood in our basement caused by a water main break. The water backed up from the meter into our finished basement. Zelaya construction repaired the concrete damaged by the water, repaired the wallboard in two rooms that had to be cut away, replaced 4 doors that were damaged, replaced trim in 3 rooms, painted the rooms and selected replacement carpet that matched the previous carpet exactly. Their work was meticulous and they made good suggestions for completing. They finished in the time frame estimated. All the workers were diligent and respectful. By the end of the project, I felt like they were family. I highly recommend this company."

"The installation team led by Mike is basically a family team.  They all seemed to instinctively know what to do so they seemed to work together in one fluid motion all day getting everything done perfectly WITHOUT any b*******, cursing or mistakes??real professionals.   It was very obvious they knew how to balance the windows so that they worked perfectly, did great sealing and dream work and made sure everything was just perfect.  In addition they also clad some of my exposed wood millwork at no extra charge?.just to be nice.  Who does extras like that any more?  Well Supreme did it for me.  The installation team came back briefly this morning to finish up the job.  I was told by Albert the job would take one day and a few hours on the second day and that is exactly how the job was done.  I would hands down recommend Supreme Windows to anyone considering window work.  Incidentally, Supreme Windows does offer other windows besides Simonton such as Sunrise.  However, I chose Simonton based on the overall product and value.   Very, very satisfied!

"ProBuilder quickly responded to the inquiry I posted via Angie's List, and has been a pleasure to work with the entire time.  

I am very pleased with the quality of work that's been done.   I wasn't able to be here for much of the work since my wife and I both work full-time; I gave them a key, and they let themselves in and out and it was never a problem.  They even let my dog out during the day!  I was able to set aside some of the work to do myself and keep the project within our budget.  (For example, he did the priming but I'll do the painting myself as well as install the baseboard trim and some other finish work that I can do on weekends.)

Nelson recommended another guy to do our granite work, and we're thrilled with how that turned out--we got a counter top for the new wet bar in the same granite as our existing kitchen counters; they coordinated with each other for the installation of the bar, the counter top, and the sink/plumbing.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire Pro Builders again.

One of the best parts of working with him was the degree of communication.  He'd let me know a day or two in advance when he needed the new light fixtures or ceramic tile, for example, so I could pick out what I wanted before he was ready to install it.  During the remodel, he came up with several great ideas on how to improve the look of the basement with a tweak here or there. That's very helpful for me since I lack the imagination to do much design work, and he didn't nickle and dime me for additional framing work, etc to make the changes even though it was outside the original scope of work."
