"I brought the six chairs and bought fabric from them. They were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and even showed my little daughters how they repaired and reupholstered furniture. Great customer service. I would definitely come back again."

"I moved to Oregon end of February. The next week I went to Pedro and <br /> Kim's with a photo of a chair that needed a lot of help. Pedro is <br /> delightful to work with. He patiently guided me through choosing a <br /> fabric. Then he gave me an estimate. I told him there was no hurry. <br /> Mid-May <br /> I gave him a call. He was very glad I did because he had lost my <br /> contact information. He called twice to check in on how the chair should <br /> look at the end. <br /> The chair arrived toward the end of June. <br /> The <br /> fabric is wonderful. I'm very stringent in my requirements, so there <br /> were a couple of details that disappointed. One, it looks as though two <br /> different people upholstered the arms so they do not match visually. <br /> The <br /> chair does not look like the original design. The arms are more thinly <br /> padded especially in the front and toward the top so it looks 50's sleek <br /> instead of comfy almost over-stuffed. A design detail I would have <br /> preferred to keep. <br /> The line of the seat cushion shows the <br /> original form of the upholstery stuffing on the arms. Because the arms <br /> have less stuffing, there is a gap between the seat cushion and the <br /> arms. <br /> Nobody but me would notice these differences because I have known this chair in my family since the mid-fifties. <br /> In addition, the pleats on the skirt in the front are placed to the <br /> side instead of in the front so there is a tight look to the skirt <br /> across the front instead of noticeable perky pleats about three inches <br /> in. This, too, makes the chair look different from the original design. <br /> The work itself is done well. But I miss the design and quot;feeland quot; of the original. <br /> Recommendation, leave photos of the original piece as a reference. <br />"

"We have a leather sofa that is at least 25 years old. They are in very good condition, except that the seat cushions got very soft after all of these years, so you sat really low in the sofa. The back cushions also got a little flat and the appearance of the sofa looked a little lumpy and not very neat. We took the cushions in to see what it would cost to replace the foam and fillings in the cushions. They gave us good advice and we thought the price was very reasonable (although we did not shop around for other estimates). The Lim's were also very friendly and easy to work with. Given the price of good furniture these days, we thought it was well worth the investment to replace the foam inside the cushions. It took about a week for them to complete the job. The result was that our sofa looks and feels like it is almost new again. The seating was nice and firm and very comfortable to sit in. The new foam and fillings inside the cushions also made the cushions very smooth on the outside as the new foam and fillings got out some of the wrinkles in the leather from the old cushions becoming so soft. We were so impressed with Lim's work that we brought in the cushions from our loveseat for them to work on. It turned out great as well. We now have a sofa and loveseat that looks good and comfortable again to sit in. I would recommend this place if you ever need to replace the foam and fillings inside your sofa/loveseat cushions. It was very enjoyable to work with them and the turnaround time was excellent."

"Excellent customer service and even though they were very busy they took the time to show me their vinyl choices and make recommendations. I was able to take my time to decide and ended up picking the vinyl that was initially recommended. They also repaired a broken back on one of the chairs - two dowels had snapped off. The chairs turned out gorgeous!!!! Because they do an amazing job and they are a small shop, have patience. They were booked out a couple months at the time I brought my chairs in. You will get amazing service and will be very pleased with the work. So worth it!"

"Lake Grove Upholstery is in my neighborhood--and on Angie's list and so I thought that was a great thing.I took pictures of the chairs I wanted covered and went to get an estimate-which I thought was very reasonable at $400. I purchased the fabric with their recommendation for amount needed and dropped them off soon after. The stuffing was falling out and the cats had had a great time sharpening their claws on the nubby fabric in which they were covered. They did a a fabulous job of turning those old beat-up chairs into the most lovely pieces! The upholstering was of high quality and they were most accommodating- friendly and professional. I couldn't be more pleased. I thought that the $400. was very well spent and quite economical considering that they had to add new stuffing and they even touched up the wood legs so that they don't look like they need to be used for fire wood! I have no qualms about using them again nor referring them to any of my friends. <br /> Jean Wilson <br />"

"THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN WELL ESTABLISHED IN OREGON CITY FOR YEARS. THEY HAD AN ABUNDANCE OF FABRIC CATALOGS FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE, OR THEY WILL TRY AND MATCH A FABRIC BROUGHT IN BY A CUSTOMER. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL, HOWEVER, IT TOOK OVER EIGHT WEEKS FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED, BUT, IT WAS WORTH IT."
