"Terry Dote is a thorough, very talented designer. He worked with us in collaborative stages, staying patient & persevering while designing, constructing, & installing for 3 separate spaces in our home. One was a challenging, triangular opening along a staircase for which he created a combination of shelving, storage, & privacy for the  adjacent bedroom. The second is a floor to ceiling wall of open shelves, giving delineation between the Master Bedroom & the Art Studio while preserving sunlight & Mt. Hood views. The 3rd is a complex, whole wall unit for the Home Office consisting of open & closed storage above & below a wall-length table/desk-top. The solutions were in response to my husband's specific ways of filing & organizing with room for decorative display. All 3 projects are sleek & smart, harmonized with the modern lines of our home. Terry graciously worked with us after the initial plans faced a budget cut. He modified to lower costs without sacrificing the beauty or practicality of any of the 3 projects."

"The Balusters were custom made by a Firm in Vermont that Ed found and vetted . Ed built the railings and installed the Balusters, and applied base and finish coat paint. His next job is to refinish an antique Sheraton Dining Table and repair several Chippendale dining chairs."

"Kitchen vinyl was installed after discovering and removing - 5!! - previous layers of vinyl.  This was unexpected, but caused no problems or complaints.  I had removed my old dishwasher, intending to install a new one right after this work was done, so the crew left behind a sheet of 1/4" plywood for my use to avoid damaging the new vinyl when I installed my new dishwasher!  How thoughtful! <br /> The new carpet install was done very quickly, and the crew carefully laid down replacement wood strip under my sliding closet doors and custom-cut the pad to fit it.  Overall, all of the work was done professionally, on schedule, on budget.  I would use Koeber's for all of my flooring needs in future."
