to reduce or eliminate  painting , especially
on the upper story.  After the Montell  Salesman gave us time to plan and go over
options we had the rafter tails wrapped, 3 inch siding put on and all the
soffits and fascia wrapped. No more paining maintenance and the home still has
all of its original charm  and after a
year, NO ISSUES!!

"Scott and his team were completely professional. All of the work that Scott detailed during our initial meeting concerning the replacement of the roof was completed in a timely manner. The costs were exactly as Scott quoted. The team that did the installation was professional, friendly and did an excellent job during the installation and cleanup after the work was done. "There were some issues because some of the gutters didn't get done. There were some issues. He couldn't get to them or something like that. I think he could do better. He didn't do much let's put it like that. We have already a gutter system in place. He didn't clean all of it, I think some were too high, I don't think he had a big ladder. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
