"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"The biggest problem I had with this company was responsiveness before the work was done. After calling them to use the coupon, it took a while to get them to my house to do an estimate. Then it took over a week to actually get the estimate so I could schedule the work. And then two weeks to get on the schedule.
With that said, the person they sent did a FANTASTIC job. I had a section of rotted wood above my entry door and it had been a problem area for years apparently. The last time I had to have the wood replaced the previous owners had not told me about termite damage behind this section. Anyway, this time around the service person said that we would fix it right.
He scraped out all of the damaged wood and replaced the damaged section with a PVC-based solution so I'll never have to worry about it rotting again. All I have to do is keep it painted and caulked.
I'm VERY happy. It looks great. He was very pleasant, friendly, professional. He explained everything to me and he worked until he finished.
The likelihood that the 3 hours included in the coupon will cover your work when there is rot involved --it took 6 hours and the materials cost $160.00. With that said, it could've ended up costing a lot more so I definitely recommend taking advantage of the coupon deal if they offer it again.

I can't say enough about working with MakHome Renovations... they have been amazing to work with and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anybody looking to do remodeling work on their home. I would give them 6 stars if I could. The scope of the work for me is that I'm getting 2 bathroom remodels done. Both bathrooms were taken down all the way to the studs. "Because of plumbing work done previously in my split foyer house, large sections of walls and ceilings in laundry room, bathroom and family room had to be cut to replace the drain pipes.  I e-mailed Anthony explaining what I needed.  He responded right away and came to my house the next day to look over the project.  He was very professional and gave me an estimate on the spot, the charge for materials and labor was less than I had expected.  The drywall crew came three days later as agreed.  They were careful to keep a dusty type of work as clean as possible and completed the major portion of the job in one day.  Part of a second day was required for the final sanding and painting.  The workers were very professional and they did a great job.  In fact they went above of what I had expected. "Brian and his crew removed the damaged drywall, remediated the mold on the first day. The next day Brian and a full crew came back and removed the siding and insulation (working from the outside in so as not to remove any more drywall on the inside), and replaced with new material as well as adding new studs to the damaged studs. Included in the work, Brian installed new gutters. While the outside work was being completed, the interior drywall was replaced. I was very pleased with all of the work, as well as the cost. I will definitely call on Brian for future jobs."

"The drywall repair was excellent. I could not ask for more, or better. The patches that needed fixing were extremely large, and you cannot tell that anything was done. If all you need is drywall repair, stop reading now, and hire Kargman's. Our main thoughts were that they did a great job, eventually. They had to come out and fix things twice and that shows great customer service and responsiveness. We just would prefer not having multiple trips. The carpentry ended up being excellent as well, and it was an admittedly tough job getting baseboards attached to brick, and trim along the walls where drywall met the brick. The main issue we had was that there were some sloppy places at first that needed Kargman's to come back out and fix. They were great in doing this, and bent over backwards to come out and do it again, but it would have been better not to have to have anyone come back out. The real issue we had was with the painting. Eventually, it all looks great and the final product is perfect. It's just that they had to come back out and clean up painted over faceplates, trim, and a door. They did eventually get it pretty much right, but it took a while. So again, everything turned out great and looks great, but it's not above average or done on the first try, so we couldn't give an A."
