"Vic’s Heating and Cooling was a wonderful experience! They were professional and extremely honest! That alone was amazing! I had contacted three local heating and cooling companies that told me I had to have my system replaced. My system is old; however, when I called Vic’s, who was the fourth company I called, they informed me that my problem was a loose. Of course, they repaired the unit and saved me at least $8,000 to $12,000! Because of that, I have and continue to call them for any heating and cooling issues I have. I only trust Vic’s Heating and Cooling for servicing my home and my rental property."

"Called Ashworth at 8:30 am Saturday morning. Air conditioner had stopped working the night before. The fellow that answered the phone was friendly, indicated they were very busy, but that they would get to my house after noon. The service tech, Brandon, called me about 3:00 pm and explained that he was running late but I was still on his schedule. When Brandon showed up he was friendly, apologetic for taking so long to show up, and knowledgeable. It took him about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and another 30 to fix it. He had the necessary parts in his truck. Show-up fee (on a Saturday) was $89 for "diagnostics." Parts and labor for the repair was $111. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE."

"Couldn't afford to pay for an AC system, and labor, so I contacted Tom Martin of MMG and he was kind enough to send 5 star rated Senior HVAC Technician Dennis Canterbury out to tell me everything needed to have a fully functional AC system, allow me to purchase my own parts and do my own labor and then have them come back out and hook it up. Now that's top notch service!!!! 5 out of 5? More like 10 out of 10!!! "Roger Prevette and his employees saved me from a real life emergency by coming to my aid during this electrical outage, never leaving me and doing everything even going above and beyond what you would normally expect from a contractor. As an owner of the company Mr. Prevette did not have to be there during my troubles, but he is a person that cares about the people that he serves and he stayed with me until final electrical inspection was completed, the power company came to reconnect my service and my whole home generator was repaired and ready for my use whenever a power failure occurs. His whole company is very professional and willing to do the best job possible. If you need any of the services that he provides, give him a call and I am sure you will be absolutely overjoyed and the service that you get. He even offered to go get his personal generator and hook it up for me if we were unable to get the other sources back into operation. To me this man is a hero."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Do yourself a favor and hire these guys; specifically John. John grew up in the Charleston area and played youth sports; ice hockey for the West Virginia Wild for one, a terrific youth program actually; but that's another topic. This is most certainly NOT a "throw the local guy a bone" situation. John has been in the business for a while and his company handles big commercial jobs, REALLY big jobs, along with the more routine residential jobs like mine. Do NOT let his relative youth fool you; John takes his business seriously. He's humble, hard-working and has the customer service instincts and philosophy for which corporate America pays consultants big money. I received a call from John 4 minutes after clicking on Home Advisor. He showed up the next day, not at the original time but he communicated with me throughout the day. Why not the original time? John had something significant stolen which the police had just recovered and he needed to go identify the item. He called me as he was with the police to give me an ETA. He showed up, took his shoes off, and, while I was showing him the main issue, I mentioned I was looking for a thinner filter to make it easier to change. He grabbed his phone, excused himself to go get a tool from the truck and when he returned, told me I'd have the filter on Monday. We talked while he worked and John was happy to answer each of my questions like it was the first time he'd ever been asked; although he's heard some variation of my Joe-homeowner questions a gazillion times. How's that for engaging the customer at 6:30 on a Friday night with one more job to do? John finished up and left. John had to return to make an adjustment and, as promised, brought my new filter. After doing some modifications to the unit, John advised me that I didn't actually need the expensive, thinner filter he'd ordered for me and took it back. What??!! I'm in the service industry and also take it seriously. I routinely share my experiences as a customer, exceptional or poor, with our group. My experience with John is most definitely the former and I'll be sharing it very soon. If John's company was public, I'd buy all the stock I could afford. Since it isn't, I'll just keep calling him for HVAC stuff. I'd suggest you do the same."

"By the time the service rep was contacted and he called us, we had purchased the part and repaired the air conditioner unit ourselves. We had hire the service company to do a complete service on the unit on June 23,2022. I would recommend Freedom Heating and Air to anyone needing service. They were very professional and did a thorough job. They explained what they were doing from beginning to end. We were shown pictures of before and after as they did the work. We will use them again if it becomes necessary."
