"Darren, the owner of Mr. Sparky, was both very knowledgeable and accommodating.  Our appointment to install an external generator connection box and power switch at the main electrical panel was made around our schedule and convenience.  The day before our appointment (Sunday), I left a message for Darren to call me and asked if he could come to our house by 8 A.M. that Monday (had previously specified "morning" only).  He said he would "try" not knowing how badly his service truck was buried at the shop after a 28 inch blizzard just hit us on Saturday.  Nevertheless, Darren arrived bright and early at 8 A.M. sharp the following morning, albeit, a little tired.  He explained that he had gone to his shop late Sunday night to dig out his truck so he could make our requested appointment time!
His installation of the new switch was very professional and he was very considerate about making sure our rugs were kept clean even though the conditions outside after the snow storm were still very bad.  He took the time to show my wife and I how to operate the new switch and advised us on what appliances could be used in the event we needed to run our 6000 watt generator.
As it turned out, Darren was also able to find a potential fire hazard in the original panel wiring.  A neutral wire in the terminal block must have been loose for a long time and showed signs of overheating.  Darren came back later that evening and fixed it at no charge.
We highly recommend Darren and Mr. Sparky as a home electrical service company and we would definitely use them again!
