"We recently hired LUX Foundation Solutions to stabilize the foundation of our garage, which was sinking. Before we decided on LUX, we talked to representatives from 2 companies; both companies suggested the same plan of action to fix the problem. The representative from LUX was forthright about what could realistically be done in terms of lifting the garage and gave us some time to think about his proposal. The other companyâ s representative assured us that his company could do much more, but he refused to put that into the contract (â They wonâ t let me,â he said). The other company was also asking for six or seven thousand dollars more, so our choice was clear. The workmen from LUX arrived on time, and they didnâ t bother us at all (no requests to use the bathroom or anything along those lines). We heard the jackhammering, of course, but other than that, the job was quiet. The foreman was always polite and ready to answer questions, and the crew always cleaned up at the end of the day (it was a 5-day job). Weâ re quite pleased with LUXâ s work, and we definitely recommend the company."

Howard Glancy with JES was the first to expertly use laser measurements and moisture readings to accurately diagnose the problem. His detailed explanations of the issues matched the readings and physical signs of the problems(cracked bricks, drywall, some mold, and bowing basement wall). He certainly gained my trust where the others did not and although extremely expensive, the costs did not seem unreasonable given the work that needed to be done to properly secure and waterproof my foundation and I signed the contract with JES. Hopefully the job will be as effective and professional as the inspection."

"French drain was installed with drain boxes, berm installed near property line, sump pump installed into new drain, top soil added in disturbed areas, grass seed/straw over same. Company told me they'd be back to be sure grass was growing plus I needed more top soil and a cap is missing from sump pump line, but had no repeat visit -- this is my only complaint. The drain held up during/after recent big storm. Berm is deteriorating due to storm and more grass seed was needed before storm. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Company owner and workers were very pleasant. He explained process as work progressed. They're a little expensive, but it was a job well done."
