"He was very professional. Very knowledgeable He was completely transparent about what he was doing and how he was diagnosing the problem with my dryer. He gave complete and thorough explanations. To be fair I’m a DIY girl but I know my limitations. But I like to learn and know things even if they are beyond my actual capabilities. Completely transparent about costs of parts and labor even showing me his cost from the parts store. He went above and beyond, and did extra. I will absolutely hire him again if I need someone to service my appliances and am hiring him to do my HVAC maintenance. He can have ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"My late-90s Sub-Zero 650 broke and I was anxious to find someone to help. They were able to send someone for same-day diagnostics and even suggested starting the repair within two business days — which is extremely rare. Communication was clear, they offered flexible options and a suggested timeline. Wishing the owners all the best!"

My name is marquise Sanchez I install all major household appliances. I have delivered and installed all major appliances for about 10 years. I’ve worked for companies such as home depo, Best Buy, and sears. I deliver quality service. I’ve travel to Indiana, parts of Michigan, and majority of illinois. I also can change valves for washers due to corrosion and valves for gas appliances as well as dishwashers and fridges. I believe I’m the best option when it comes to installing appliances I not only bring my knowledge of the work but also the professionalism and patience that comes with working in this field.

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Berkeley, IL

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
