"This company performed an excellent job! One area was really a mess, and afterward, we couldn't tell there ever was a mess. The painters came out to preview the job, made suggestions for colors and gave a reasonable estimate. This was great. On the day before the job, the painters came out to prep the walls. On the day of the job, they came on time, as promised. They even performed some extra tasks that were not discussed, but appreciated!They moved appliances, shelves, railings and cleaned up! Our family is well-pleased and will definitely call on Ebony Painting and Remodeling again."

"The wrong shower tile was installed, the exhaust fan/light was not installed and not left at the job site, grab bar was not installed as requested, work site was left a mess. When concerns were voiced to the owner he stated "That's how we always do it" and that my disappointment was a list of "petty stuff". He advised that his customers were always satisfied and I had yelled and cursed at him which was not the way he does business. I may have yelled, but I was not a satisfied customer and wanted at least some sort of apology or indication that he had some responsibility in not doing the job as expected. That did not happen. Two and a half weeks later, I made a second call. He did offer to "fix" two of my issues (threshold not level with hall floor and install fan/light so that the light would work with the old fan - I had expected to have the new fan and light installed). I declined his offer as I have no faith that his fix will be any better than the work already done. I live out of state and would not be on site to see what was done. Additionally, there is no way for him to "fix" the wrong tile, the fan/light I provided and paid for is gone, as is the leftover paint that I paid for and I have already cleaned/scrubbed walls, floor, toilet, vanity, mirror and light fixture which all had grout or paint left on them. "I was referred to Chapman Cabinets via Angies List. After leaving a message in reference to a kitchen project, I was contacted very shortly after. I mentioned that I had gotten their info from Angies List and described the work I would need to have done. After speaking with Eric and sending pictures and other information, I was given a very reasonable quote with a description of exactly what that quote entailed. Upon agreement, I was asked for the address so that Eric could schedule the work. Not knowing where they were located, I thought nothing of the location details, but as it turns out, my address happened to be five and half hours away from where Chapman Cabinets is! I received a call from Eric, who explained that despite the 5.5 hrs it would take for him to get to this job site, he was going to honor the quote anyways! He mentioned that he probably should have looked closer at the addresses, but since we had made an agreement, he intended to meet his commitment! I find that very commendable and don't see enough of that in business these days. Despite some hold-ups due to Corona related delays, I would highly recommend Chapman Cabinets of Georgia, regardless of where you live! The work was completed as described and the quality is excellent!"
