"I wish my first call had been to Eddie and Repair Tech Plus. He fixed my TV after another repair service told me the situation was hopeless if I didn't spend an unreasonable amount of money with them (after, of course, they'd missed their first appointment with me). The best part of dealing with Eddie instead was his professional and friendly approach; he was prompt, on-time, informative, and frank. He always returned phone calls as promised, showed up as agreed. As an authorized technician, he always called the TV company direct if there were any technical issues that needed dealing with. During the initial diagnostic visit, he very honestly talked to me about the cons of repair -- that depending on which component needed to be replaced, it may approach the cost of simply buying a new (albeit smaller) set. I decided to go ahead with the repair anyway, and Eddie did everything he could to make sure we got it repaired efficiently and in a timely manner. "Arrived on time and carried out chimney cleaning in about 30 minutes. Good care was taken to keep the area clean. They checked the cold air return and told me the duct work needed to be vacuumed and quoted me a ridiculously high price and then immediately cut it by a third, which I felt was still too much. We reached an agreement on a price and some of the duct work was vacuumed, to include the main cold air return and about a third of the duct work. In no way was it a complete cleaning. Was also quoted a price of $200.00 to replace the chimney cap. Replacement was not required as it had been replaced only a year previously. Also felt the price was too high since a chimney cap from Lowes or Home Depot runs about $30.00 and takes about five minutes to install.

"Very good. They take care of your appliances. They only charge my $75.00 per call, including the parts. They use refurbished parts most of the time. I would grade it basically to an B, I got the best one going according to most people. There is one in Colorado that will covers everything, but they are only located in Colorado. It can also take three days, or five days, it depends on the time of the year. With air conditioning, it can take more in the Summer time, because I am in Florida. Most of the time they are not that bad. The cover most of my major appliances, my washer, dryer, my pool. My daughter also uses the same company, they have done her washer, dryer, and air conditioner."
