"Initial estimate was 5-8 days, but we were going in blind because the siding was not yet removed. After removal, we discovered all the remaining issues. The estimate went up as we made change orders but all the estimates were reasonable. The time eventually extended to about 3 weeks but the amount of work was definitely high. The guys made sure to clean up the rubble and messes they made every day. While having the paint stripper in the front was inconvenient, Pat stayed late to clean up and make sure we were able to get in and out of the house no problem. The pointing job looked great, and all cracked and broken bricks were repaired well. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors about how much better the house looks now. Pat and Ryan are great masons and will do everything relating to masonry and stone. They are very straightforward about not doing carpentry or electrical systems, so if that's a part of the job, they can either recommend someone to help out, or you should make sure to handle it yourself. Communication with Pat is very fast and very clear. He will explain the details of the job to you very carefully, and will also provide careful records of invoices and payments. They are also very accommodating of various needs like access to the house, neighborhood requirements, etc."

"He was prompt, professional and very courteous. We have a newborn, so dealing with a leak was not something I could handle right now. I don't have a ton of experience with chimney repair so the price seemed on the high end of reasonable, but he was responsive on the first day and came to do the repair as soon as weather permitted. We just had our first rain since the repair and everything stayed very dry. Well worth any additional expense."

As others have mentioned he is very busy but will work as long as needed to get the job done right (our 45sq/ft job ended up being a bit more involved once old tile was removed). Will upload photos once grout is sealed and buffed in a couple days."

What is amazing about this owner, he saw that my brick front porch also needed to be repointed. His workers matched the color perfectly and repointed the areas like new. I will say that trying to get them out was a bit of a pain. My father was helping to coordinate everything because of my work hours. It took them over a month to send us a quote. But once the quote was here, they were ready to come. They seem to be a bit disorganized behind the scenes: for example, I received a call from the woman who works at the office on the day the service was to be provided that they would be out. Later that day, my father received a call from one of the workers stating they couldn't do the work because I didn't have an outside water hookup. Ok, so I would reschedule. Later that week I got a call from the office asking if I liked the service they provided. I said they didn't provide a service because we got a call saying they couldn't. After a few phone calls back and forth, apparently, one of the workers asked my neighbor for a water hook up (love my neighbors) and they were able to finish the job, however no one ever called to say they were able to do it.

When I got home, I looked at the windows and sure enough, they did look different. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't look but they did the work. They said they would send out the invoice for the rest of the amount, and it waited for about 6 weeks. Finally, I called saying I never got it and if they could email it or fax it. They wanted to drive over to my house to pick up the payment at that moment. That would have been fine, but I was the one that alerted them to the fact that I hadn't paid yet. I work late hours and didn't want someone coming over late. I mailed it out that day. no worries.

the reason I gave such a high rating is because even with all that little annoying stuff, their work was fantastic. I had a leaking front window for years and it is now months later, I still have the drywall off the wall to monitor the water, and still nothing. no water. amazing! I asked for an estimate on doing my front step in the late summer but never heard back. seems they need a bit of nudging or maybe they are just really busy because they are so good. I would love to give them more business but I am too busy to be bothering people about giving me new quotes right now. maybe in the summer.

Italio is an exceptional contractor and I know we will have him back sooner than later to do some more in our kitchen.
