"They did an excellent job of waterproofing our foundation, burying downspouts, and replacing a patio to guarantee drainage away from the house. Most of our interaction was with the crew foreman. He spoke good English, showed attention to detail, and did a careful, professional job even when the weather got so hot we found ourselves urging the crew to take more breaks. They were not the cheapest bid, but worth it for the skilled workmanship. This is the second project we have hired them to do, and I would recommend them for any work where drainage is important."

"I purchased my home in 2002. For the last 6 or 7 years I've noticed the signs of foundation settling. At first I ignored it believing that all houses settle some, but after noticing hairline cracks in the foundation walls, cracks in the dry wall around some doors and windows, I just couldn't ignore it any longer. After interviewing several companies, I believed NV Waterproofing had the plan that suited my problem most favorably. In late May 2018, I contacted the company. A representative came to my home and conducted an inspection inside and out to determine the cause and offered several options to resolve the problem and the cost for each. I choose to stabilize my foundation using push piers. I accepted the contract and contacted the company scheduler and got on the calendar for a start date. My project was tentatively scheduled for four days. Due to the need to dig down to the foundation footer, I asked that the project be started and completed in four consecutive days. The scheduler was flexible, easy to work with and kept me informed of potential start dates, After several false starts due to weather, the project was started on Sept 4. The team that started and completed the project was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. The field supervisor and the team leader kept me informed of what would be done and what had been done at the end of each day. They were all hard and efficient workers and completed the project one day early. The work area was cleared, seeded, straw put down and left in good order. Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend."

"Dan and his team were both efficient and knowledgeable. They installed a french drain sump pump and made repairs to our footings at our residence three years ago and not a drop of water since then! Thats why we recommended them for the work we recently did at our church. The crew installed a complete system with two sumps and pumps in two days! "We found Basement Waterproofing Nationwide to be highly ethical and very knowledgeable. A little over a year ago we had BWN perform some basement waterproofing. We were delighted with the work and the options presented to us as well as the speed with which it was done. This summer during the very heavy rains, we had some water seep into the basement so we called for an evaluation. As it turned out, the rebuild contractors (which we had opted to contract with a lower price provider vs. using subs hired by BWN) never communicated to us that the newly installed sump pump required an electrician and that it was not hooked up. This house is inhabited by tenants and we are not in the same state, so it's hard to tell where the communication breakdown occurred. Basement Waterproofing Nationwide's service rep however was extremely professional and helpful in delivering this bad news. He also checked and was able to confirm that the waterproofing was still good. He made a few suggestions like letting us know that he noticed where the drywall had been replaced that the outlet plates were never reinstalled. I also had some questions about the contract and he was very helpful and had the office fax me the pertinent info that same day. Lesson learned for me was that it would probably have been better to let BWN hire the contractors for the rebuild esp when you are out of town and unable to oversee. When there are heavy rains in the area like Baltimore had in July, it might take a few days for them to process the volume of calls especially if the nature of your request is minor. But they do respond. They are extremely professional and they stand behind their work."
