The tech arrived on time, seemed friendly, but that's where the smooth ride took an unexpected detour. Within the first 10 minutes, it became apparent that I wasn't just paying for a technician; I was unwittingly signing up for a collaborative handyman project. The tech started raiding my toolbox, asking for tools I didn't even know existed. I became a tool sherpa as he borrowed my hammer, pry-bar, and who knows what else.
