"He took out a non-weight bearing wall to extend my dinning room. I have had him work on a few different projects at the house that me and my wife moved in to. He is very professional and gets the job done right and inexpensive."

"The job was done in a very professional manner paying attention to detail and quality of the supplies provided and used for the fencing. The job was done efficiently and exactly to the specifications that I required. He made sure that I was satisfied with the job at different stages of the construction. I had one or two specific things that I wanted done and he made sure that they were installed properly as they were being done. He worked very neatly and cleaned up all of the property of any cut or waste materials. His men were very proficient at performing their individual tasks paying attention once more to quality and to my satisfaction.

"The project was top-notch and reasonably priced. Not only did they install a new fence, but they also fixed two pieces of existing fence that were bent. They had to fight the rain for a whole week. Zach and Makayla communicated with me each day about their work plans. They worked around the rain to make sure the cement set. They even worked in the rain other days and in the evening until dark some days to get it done. They left no mess. We are very pleased with our fence. I would definitely hire them again!"

"Tired of trimming and cleaning up the debris from many bushes and needing several large, low hanging tree limbs removed, I decided I needed help. I requested quotes from two companies on the Home Advisor's list, both with 5 star ratingsâ ¦.neither of them ever bothered to contact me, very disappointedâ ¦.not good. I did, however, get a reply from one small independent company, Holder Landscaping, that afternoon. I advised him that cost was an issue and he assured me that he would try to work with me and came out later that day to see what I needed done. He quoted a price that was fair. I had a written quote that evening in my mail and he and his helpers came out a couple days later. They got right to work, checked with me for approval/adjustments, etc. cleaned it all up , and hauled it away in a short time. I already had a friend ask for their number, and I have a couple more projects that I will be calling them to do. Overall: fair price, stayed in touch, did the job I asked them to do, worked hard and fast."

"The day before Rocky came out and gave me an estimate of cutting down my very tall leaning pine tree. The next afternoon, he and his crew came out, cut the limbs off the tree, cut the tree down, mulched the smaller pieces and hauled off the large pieces of tree. They were prompt, professional and very efficient. I will use them in the future.

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Boomer, NC

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
