"From the first meeting with Matt, we knew that Craftsman was the right choice for us--he was professional, friendly, and it would obvious that he knew the business and had our best interests at heart.  A few days after our initial meeting with him, he came back with his proposal and a detailed design for our new basement.  There were a few things that we wanted tweaked, and he took care to make sure they would be feasible and made the changes as requested.  He noticed "quirks" in our basement that other contractors who came to bid had overlooked, and he was able to make several suggestions about how we would make it look as little like a "basement" as possible.  It feels like there isn't one foot of wasted space in the design.  They began our basement less than a week after we signed contracts.  All said, we had framers in our house prepping the basement less than 2 weeks after our initial appointment.
I can't emphasize enough how happy we are with our new space, and with how the entire project was handled.  Matt will admit that he may not be the cheapest person to come in and bid your basement, but in our minds, it was well worth the cost, and in the end, we likely ended up saving money.  Before he bid, he looked at our main level to match fixtures, finishes, and the overall quality, which was important to us.  We didn't just want a basement, but an extension of our home, and that is exactly what we got.    
Scott was our project manager, and we either saw or heard from him on an almost daily basis.  Again, it was abundantly clear that Scott had our best interests at heart.  He was easy to get ahold of, open to changes, and when something went awry, he bent over backwards to fix it.  He was there every step of the way to walk through the project and took our feedback sincerely.  There were even a few times that (significant) dust from work in the basement found its way upstairs, and within an hour, there were people there to clean the main level top to bottom.  This was never expected, but it was a small touch that was much appreciated.  We were so, so impressed with how the entire job (which had a lot of working parts, between the basement and main level remodeling) was handled.
There were a lot of different contractors in and out of the house on a daily basis, and they were all so kind and friendly.  By the end of the project, we knew most of them by name, and the quality of their work was impeccable.  
Remodeling your home is a rather daunting task, but Craftsman made it more than bearable.  We will be recommending Craftsman to everyone we know.
