They contacted me early last week to schedule service for my HVAC system, and I agreed to their preferred date—the following Monday. I received a confirmation email on Sunday and a reminder Monday morning for the upcoming afternoon appointment. I drove 1.5 hours to the service site, only to be met with confusion and poor communication. When I called at 12:30 to ask for a specific arrival time, I was told the technician would contact me 30 minutes before arriving—but they couldn’t give me a time estimate. I waited another 2.5 hours before receiving a call informing me that no technician would be coming at all. My only options were to reschedule or cancel. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on long hold. Eventually, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and would call me later. That call never came. This experience was a complete waste of time and resources, and the lack of accountability was appalling. Hunt’s HVAC Services failed to honor their commitment, communicate effectively, or show basic courtesy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business."

"Schmitty's Plumbing responded to my Angi's service request almost as soon as I submitted it, and they beat out three other Angi plumbing companies in terms of pricing and transparency. I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. We appreciated their no-nonsense, honest, prompt service, and very fair pricing. I chose Schmitty's based on the positive customer reviews, and would hire them again. "My elderly mother is partially blind and disabled. On November 1, 2021 her washing machine broke leaking water in her home. In desperation she called rotor rooter. Roto rooter came out, stopped the leak, and put dryers in and left. They returned a few days later to remove the dryers. The technician quoted my mother a cost of about $3000.00. My mother signed a contract but could not see what she was signing. After Roto rooter Reno removed the dryers they sent a bill to my mother for $9000.00. The contract she signed stated Roto rooter would remove walls, roofing, insulation, baseboard, tile etc. Roto rooter didn’t do any of those things. Roto rooter is price gauging and took advantage of an elderly disabled woman. Roto rooter technicians were in the home no more than 3 hours total. First my mother did not have capacity to enter into a contract as she couldn’t see what she was signing. 2 Roto rooters technicians told her the cost would be about $3000.00. 3 Roto rooter did not do the work in the contract. I believe Roto rooter is commuting elder abuse and fraud."
