"I connected with Victor over Facebook and hired him to install fence for my property. Not only did he give me a fair price but performed the job perfectly for a fair price. Intact he graciously did extra feet with no extra cost. His guys are very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend him."

"Very professional. Chase is both laid back enough to feel like you've known him for years and professional enough to give realistic explanations of every aspect of installing/replacing a fence - including cost analysis, payment schedule and above all, accurate time frames for each stage of the job. Its a shame I only have one fence, because I would absolutely have him and his crew come back out again."

"Handyman at your Command did a great job getting our townhouse ready to go on the market. The staff was professional and courteous. The prices were reasonable and they completely our work within a short frame. They updated our bathrooms, painted our kitchen cabinets and carpeted all the bedrooms. The house looked amazing and we received five offers over asking our price."

"This went very well from start to finish. I called the office first to make sure my project was something Kargman's could do; they confirmed their staff could install the fence for me and advised me how to purchase the Big Deal. Within 24 hours of making the purchase online, I received an email asking me to call to set up a time for the work to be done. I spoke with Erin, who was friendly and professional, reiterated what work I wanted done and chose a date. I offered that I was fine with two people for four hours because it might be a two person job. I then went to Lowe's and bought four 6 x 8 foot sections of wooden fence so everything would be ready to go on the day of the job. The posts in the ground were still good, so there would not have to be any hole digging.
The morning of the scheduled date (which was only one week after I purchased the deal--so there was no waiting weeks to try to get the job scheduled), Bill and Alex arrived at just before 8:00 am to begin. Not only were they prompt, they were friendly, worked well as a team and showed a real interest in my house. It took them all of two hours to complete the task and then fix my broken doorbell (at the last minute when I was thinking of something else for them to do). Alex told me he did not have space in his truck bed to take away all the debris, but he called the office to find a resolution. I was told that another worker, Fabian (?) would be at my house within 30 minutes to collect everything and haul it away. Bill and Alex left for another job, and shortly thereafter, Fabian and another gentleman showed up to collect and remove all the waste. They, too, were both friendly, quick, and hard working!
Because my job only used four hours of labor, instead of the eight hours that I paid for, I called the office to see if I could keep those hours as a credit for the next time I needed work done. I don't need anything else done right now, but considering that my house is about 130 years old and finding a reliable handyman has been a challenge in the past, I will, without a doubt, use Kargman's again...and, I will get my next four hours of work at no additional charge!"

"We got in touch with Tom when we first bought our house and he did a survey and gave us a very accurate estimate.  When we were finally ready to move ahead with our fence, he got done almost a week earlier than planned.  His team was punctual and efficient, a real pleasure to work with.  Before we paid in full, Tom came back to check on the work and ensure that we were satisified.  Would definitely recommend.

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Brandywine, MD

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
