"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

"Ed and his crew did such an excellent job on our kitchen, dining room, and deck. Ed was super responsive, and was great to communicate with through email or text. Ed was great at making recommendations while still leaving the decisions to us. The attention to detail was top notch, and Ed and Bob did an excellent job fitting up our cabinets, window, and new door, as well as the flooring and all the other details. Ed was very accommodating to changes during the job. He and his crew also got the job done quickly, which was great for a kitchen renovation. They worked hard to ensure the process was smooth and as non-disruptive as possible. Ed was onsite every day, either working alongside his crew or coordinating with contractors, and he and his crew take pride in their work. Ed works with great businesses, including Karen of Friend Lumber who was so helpful and experienced in helping us select the cabinet style and layout, and Brian of Nashua Tile who was also very helpful in helping us pick out our tile. Ed and crew were a pleasure to work with. Everyone loves our new kitchen, and we are so happy we chose Ed to be our contractor. We highly recommend him!"

"We went with John as his bid was lower. He worked alone for most of the project which helped keep costs down. The project did take a long time as he was balancing snow removal with our renovation, but he did explain this before he started. He was very honest and had good ideas; we never thought he was deliberately running up the price or making the project more complex than it needed to be. He was willing to do a few other minor repairs around our home that were needed. He also removed all construction debris and was willing to economize when we asked him to. He also took care of our dog when he was working at the house. <br /> We highly recommend him. <br />"

"After getting several estimates for vinyl siding I decided to go with Artistic Exteriors. They did a fantastic job installing the vinyl <br /> siding and repairing some structural damage caused by carpenter ants. Cliff was very fair in his pricing for the siding and the additional structure repair. I liked their work so much that I also had them replace my deck and then build a beautiful post and beam screen room. They made every effort to design a screen room that would look great and last forever. I would highly recommend Artistic Exteriors."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Brattleboro, VT

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
