"The repair representative was very professional. He arrived on time. He provided us with a free estimate. He informed me of what needed to be done and was very knowledgeable about his craft. My wife and I were."

"I had been dreading this service call because I had ignored the problem too long. My inaction had allowed the problem to multiply which made the repair cost increase. Eddie was able to repair the immediate problem after making two trips to Home Depot for replacement parts to fix the multiple problems with the shower plumbing. We reviewed other minor plumbing problems in my 26 year old home. I plan to schedule another for a complete update of my plumbing fixtures in February."

"Fast and cleaned up better than they found it

"Fast, professional and the owner will address any issues. Re-piped my home and replaced a water heater. There were some small issues that were quickly fixed and an issue with damaged siding. The owner is making this right."

"Came out promptly and did the work cleanly and efficiently. The owner was very responsive to my texts and kept us informed of when the workers would arrive."

"The work was done quickly and looked amazing. Trimwork throughout house, sheetrock repair, plumbing, cabinetry, etc. Fair pricing."

"Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to protect the back of our house from foundation problems from a large oak tree.  They also added catch basins to existing drainage pipes as well as replacing some piping where needed.  Rob spent a generous amount of time taking a good look at our property, assessing what would work best and answering all of my questions. I was very pleased with the work done and with the people he has on his crew.

"Bassam used high-quality subcontractors to reconstruct the wall and to repair a leaky chimney cap, and his own workers for the interior wall repairs and flooring. He arranged for advantageous financing. He worked closely with my home insurance inspectors and the resulting report enabled me to obtain partial insurance coverage for the repairs (my lawyer friends had thought it unlikely that I would be able to obtain any insurance coverage at all). Bassam also obtained a permit from the city and worked closely with city inspectors. This involved hours of waiting for an inspector from the city’s understaffed inspection department. There were five visits altogether. Bassam would wait outside my home in his truck until the inspector arrived, not knowing the exact time or even the day of arrival. To further complicate matters, the wall being repaired was on a zero-lot line property, meaning that we needed the permission of my highly skeptical neighbor to obtain access to her yard to do the repairs on my house. I estimate that meeting the neighbor’s requirements delayed completion of the work by an additional two months. The job took on a high degree of urgency as the heavy rains of spring set in. As it turned out, the exterior wall repairs were completed two days before the Tax Day storm of 2016. After that, the interior repairs went smoothly. Bassam assisted me with the choice of suitable paint colors for my living room and guest bedroom. Floor It Today is a small family company, and Bassam described this job as unusually delicate. There were several points on which the company could improve. Typed contracts would be an advance over handwritten ones, I felt some pressure when I was persuaded to switch from luxury vinyl to wood-look porcelain, and the additional repairs as well as the change in flooring material increased my monthly installment payments in a way that I did not fully understand (they went back down to the original amount after the additional charges were paid off). The final result, however, is stunning. My new floor has won high praise from my visitors and I find I prefer the natural material to vinyl. In addition, the porcelain floor is highly durable and will not be damaged even if water enters again. Bassam and his workers were always reliable and courteous, despite the frustrations involved. I saw, too, that Bassam was careful and considerate in his treatment of his employees. He was humane toward the pets who were affected by this work and respectful of their owners’ feelings. I appreciated his patience and persistence in a job that became far more complex and demanding than anyone had anticipated. In the end, Floor It Today and Bassam Mirza came through with flying colors."

"I used a coupon they offered to get some small but numerous projects done. It went very well. I had quite a "honey-do" list and most of the projects were completed. A few of the items were outside the scope of the coupon, requiring a bit more time and were better quoted separately which I understood perfectly. The were very nice, professional, took pride in their work and didn't attempt anything they may have damaged my home. For example, I had to replace a defective bathroom faucet installed around tile. They explained that although it was a relatively simple job, they would not be able to do it because of the grout around the screw that would require some time to carefully remove. As it is, they will need to come back to do some other work pending an estimate for the work. (installing a dishwasher and replacing wood rot around the garage door. All in all, very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them."

"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."
